Freat value for money. Bought for a family member with gut issues, seems to be doing the job but only time will tell. For all appearance seems a quality item, arrived on time and well packaged.

Not a nice taste but I am getting use to it

Bought as a supplement for my cats.They were having a lot of digestion issues, which the vets couldn't figure out.Did some research and started them on slippery elm powder. No more stinky messes for me to clean up!

It does not smell anything like Sliiery Elm and it does not mix into a mucilaginous paste which is the whole point of using it. Am returning for refund

Sending back. This stuff is rubbish and whilst it might be slippery elm, it’s low grade compared to other suppliers I have tried from Amazon. I bought this because it was a large quantity but it’s not having the desired effect, hard to mix in water and gives me stomach upset

Slippery Elm is one of those interesting things that while not FDA approved has been used traditionally for a bunch of things, this in particular while being a pure powder with nothing else added seems to attempt to spin it as a premium supplement by getting theirs only from the inner bark resulting in a far lighter powder compared to the usual brown. The idea is that once wet it becomes a sort of thick liquid that is believed to coat the throat, stomach and intestines therefore helping with issues that are tied to those things.While I can't really comment on its effectiveness it was surprisingly easy to take as I had no issues with the taste and you aren't really forced to mix it with water either and can jam it into all sorts of things, I have even used its habit of becoming a thick liquid to thicken up a sauce which seemed to actually work (but obviously you need to be ok with the added flavour). That said I have had no bad side effects from this and my gut seems pretty healthy atm so maybe this did help with that.The price does seem like a lot but since the dosage they want you to take is so small it can apparently last way over a year (605 servings according to the packaging) though while this tries to do the 'do not exceed daily dose' things I don't see this doing much if you were to use more than that. I will also note that it claims the product must be used from 24 months from production date so it has a time limit whether you open it or not. Its one of those things where I can only recommend it to those that have done some self research and believe in its uses though for those that like natural remedies and may have an issue this aims at it could be worth trying.
