BALDR Wireless Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Digital Hygrometer with Weather Forecast and Large LCD (White)

I had one of the better-known brands before, and after a couple of years, I started getting weird readings, like one time it said it was 174 degrees outside and a few times when the humidity was low (about 10%), it read 0% humidity! The Baldr weather station's readings are consistent with other temp/humidity devices I have and the screen is very easy to read. I have had it for about 2 months, so I don't know how good it'll be in a couple of years, but the quality already impresses me.

This is a great little weather station. My parents have had a weather station for years, and finally the last remote sensor for their system failed.I considered many different models before arriving at this one. I recruited my mother's assistance with the final selection because, while this is going to be a birthday gift for my father, the base was going to be on a kitchen counter, so this needed to be appealing to my mom, as well.This unit works well, is discreet and easy to set up (it took me about three minutes once the batteries were installed).This a great value and I highly recommend it.

This is a basic atomic clock with indoor/outdoor temperature. It worked well for me, but there are a couple of issues. 1) Like many LCD displays, the unit is difficult to read in many situations -- the lighting has to be set up just so for it to be read easily. Though the built-in "snooze" light works well. 2) Pay attention to the order of tasks when setting up the unit -- specifically put the batteries in the main unit before powering the remote unit. 3) I live in the bottom of a downtown concrete canyon -- syncing with the atomic clock is spotty at best.Bottom line, though -- the unit is inexpensive, and these issues are not deal breakers.

Clear screen, easy to see large numbers. I bought 2 of these and I would buy again if I need to.

I wanted to like this product.... but it has stopped working all with in a month... I like the size. And I like the layout and it worked well for a month... now the temp reading on the inside unit is not accurate what so ever.... it says it is 115 degrees inside.... which is clearly not accurate on a winter day.... I have windows open with no heater going.... if I had to assume I'd say it's 68 to 70 degrees inside my house right now..... was really hoping this would have worked well but looks like it dies right after the return time frame window... dont recommend unless you want to buy a new one every month....

The Picture shows the Remote Sensor sitting next to the Base Station. They were sitting together for 8-days to get fully synchronized. From the Display (Upper is Remote/Lower is Base) you can see the inaccuracy-discrepancy between the two sensors. Had to return for refund.BTW: I have a 10-yr old Oregon Scientific with one dead remote sensor. I thought this would replace it. Not even close! I didn't read the specifications closely. BALDR sets time & date manually. (Not from the WWVB Atomic Clock Signal).

I am going to like it very much when the most horrible time of the year comes to Colorado winter. I will know what the temperature is outside before facing the time of the year I hate most of all, cold, snow, wind and the other parts of winter that are too long. I do have one thing going for me in Coldarado is I am retired and can decided if I want to go out and face nasty old winter.

Unit is not too large for desk top use. Well layed out and easy to set up and calibrate and easy to read.
