If this is all you can afford, you'll be happy buying it!
I promise this is a 100% honest review of this bike:The bike is great for the price you pay, although it is very heavy compared to other bikes. The seat is EXTREMELY uncomfortable, you NEED to buy a high quality seat for this bike. The breaks squeak slightly no matter how much you oil them. Overall, there is nothing wrong with this bike, it just feels that it takes extra pedaling while riding because it is heavier than most other similar bikes. I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5 mostly because the bike seat is awful, which really isn't a big deal. If you're a relatively poor graduate student, or fresh out of college, this bike will do you justice until you can afford a nicer one.(Update): I'm still using this 2 years later, and I've had little problems with it!

Don’t buy!
We put ours together and returned it the next day. The pedal broke before even leaving the house and the brakes didn’t work/wouldn’t align. I wouldn’t feel safe riding it because it’s so cheaply made. Nor would I feel safe riding with a child seat attached. Very cheaply made. You can buy better used!
