Great value. Found it easy and fun to build and use.Excellent instructions. Some basic Python code skills advised but also great to start learning with.Good for learning / improving coding skills. Separate sections for each functionality.App not brilliant but very functional. (funtions without app too)Friendly customer service - promptly supplied a replacement part.

Great little project
Yuu have to download the manuals but it is easy enough. you have to have purchase the raspberry pie PC to run this car. when completed you have to load in the programs to have the car carry out operations but only 1 at a time. it will take a bit of time to combine all the programs to make this a full functioning security device, a good toy to learn programming and an introduction to Robotics and maybe AI,

I already own a Pi though, so for me that wasn’t an issue.What impressed me most about this kit is its quality construction and feature-rich design. The robot car is equipped with capabilities like line following, obstacle avoidance, and TTS, made more versatile with various sensors and included rechargeable batteries.The programming aspect is another great thing about this product. Supporting both Python and Scratch, the kit provides a great platform for beginners (scratch) and more experienced users (python) to enhance their coding skills. The assembly process is straightforward and backed by clear instructions, making it accessible even for those new to DIY electronics projects.Overall as a senior software developer who knows a lot about programming but recently became engrossed in electronics, this has been a super fun project to get up and running. There’s not loads of projects that are fun for more of an adult age as a lot are aimed at a younger user base, but this was definitely worth the price point I’d say.

Functionality galore
This is probably one of the coolest projects for tinkering I have ever set eyes on, it does require a raspberry pi board and a controller app download but aside from these little requirements, everything else is included in the box and the host of little ai projects included within is commendable, this is no one trick pony.Item arrives in a neat branded box, very smart and looks expensive, everything is bagged within separately along with assembly instructions.You will require a raspberry pi for this project, it isn't included but I had a pi 3b+ laying around since upgrading from to a pi 4 a while back, once obtained the robot assembly is relatively simple dependant on your age but it isn't rocket science, at least not yet...I haven't as yet got much further than building the robot and grabbing the controller app, yes you will require to download an app, but once obtained you can begin programming in order to add functionality to the robot, the good thing is you can add functionality at your own pace and on an individual basis, selecting the functions you wish to add and temporarily ignoring the ones you don't.Don't get me wrong the programming side won't be so easy, but should ensure your time and effort will be rewarded with functionality.This would make for an excellent geek present or for those who wish to learn programming with python, excellent value for money once you've tracked down a pi.
