Wow, it actually works! Not just flies but great big moths as well, I won't need to close the window in the summer evenings now, and here them banging into the window to get to my light bulb, now they can come in and be zapped by my bug playground as I have named it.Yes, you do hear them being zapped, and I think that's one that isn't going to go into my bedroom.There are only a couple of problems with it.1. If you don't have a socket close by, then you need a really good quality power bank, well 2, one in use and the other one on charge!2. Stand it on something. Otherwise, you will have exploded body parts of bug over the item you have stood it on.3. This is the big one. Only hang it up by the ring when outside. Otherwise you will have a lot more body parts to clean up, and remember that when you stand it up on your cabinets or counters ect you stand it the right way up, otherwise more body parts to clean up.4. The brush that comes with it isn't very good. It's so tiny, so I use a soft makeup brush that you use for foundation. It works very well and doesn't damage the wires wrapped around the inside, where a lot of the bugs have stuck to when they have been zapped.Best bug killer I have purchased, no awful smell from those spray cans, and no chasing them around to swat them or shoo them outside or chase them with one or those zapper bats Just plug in a wait for the first zap.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!! DON'T THINK ABOUT IT, BUY IT. You won't regret it, and you wished you got it sooner.

Not what I was hoping. Only lasts 3 hours then recharge which then takes a further hour.

Can definitely kill any flies that enter but LED ultra violet is a bit pinky and doesn't seem to attract flies as well as the proper blue ultra violet lights.
