A bouquet of fresh citrus blended with exotic East Indian spices lends to the zesty yet warm finish of the Royall Vetiver Fragrance. Mixed with fine distilled alcohol and oils from the finest rootlets of the Vetiver grass to produce a sensuous feeling that lingers softly on the skin.

Different shape of bottle, but excellent scent
The shape of the bottle is different from those I have of R. Lyme, R. Muske, R. Spyce or R. Bayrhum, but I believe one can see one like it on the R. Lyme web site. The scent did little for me initially, & I thought it was very similar to the Bayrhum. It has however grown on me & is now one of my favourites for everyday use.

Love the Royall Fragrances
It all started many years ago in the Bahamas when my Dad gave my brothers and me a bottle each of a Royall aftershave. He told me he selected the Royall Lyme for me becasue he knew I would like that most. To this day, 25 years later, I still use it and love it. I tried the Royall Vetiver but it was not a blind buy as I had sampled it. It is rough, in a good way. Maybe, "blunt" is a better word. I mean, this fragrance is not at all ashamed of its vetiver note, which is front and center and dominant. Well balanced, elegant, light. Can be worn in day or evening year-round.

Does not have staying power, but is a nice addition.
Has a earthy smell that is not overpowering. It stings a little, but this is good to close the pores. I re-ordered another bottle because I like the initial smell. Wife or kids cannot smell it even after a couple of hours. It does not come back to life (dry down) when you sweat. I shave everyday, and this bottle lasts several months to a year.

Royall makes excellent fragrances. I'm partial to their Bay Rhum and Rugby, so I thought I'd take a shot at the Vetiver. The scent is a 9/10 if you're looking for that signature vetiver smell. It doesn't have much staying power--maybe three hours--but when one compares the price to something like Guerlain Vetiver the Royall version is a clear winner.

I have been using this stuff since 1965 when I first found it in the Bahamas. It fares with the top echelon of French perfumes. I have used three different varieties of their product and liked Royall Lyme best but found this to be longer lasting. I use it mostly as a deodorant and since I don't sweat much it does a fine job and a bottle can last me 6 to 12 months.

Another Winner from Royall
I have been a user of Royall products for many years. Usually only available at specialty stores. I would always buy a bottle where ever I ran across some. Never usually any larger than 4oz. It has been a treat to find them on Amazon in 8 oz and priced fairly. I have used the lyme, musk and spice for years. Spice being the favorite (a touch of clove). The new fragrance was an intrigue leap for me and purchased solely based on the product line history. Getting use to it as it is different. Kinda like the feel you get when you sit a new car and enjoy the aroma. Fresh, clean, subtle, woodsy smell to me. This fragrance is not the sugar sweet smells many promote. Wearing it today and have not been sorry that I took the chance without having verified the fragrance before purchasing. Not going to find this just anywhere. The packaging is classic and the products are consistantly done well. My only caution is you may get hooked on this product line as I have. A traditional preppy.
