For BL-FU195C Replacement Bare Bulb Fit For OPTOMA HD142X HD27 by Mogobe

Replaced the original factory bulb in an Optoma HD142X with this one. The new bulb is acceptable. The brightness and colors seem fine. There is an issue where the bulb seems to emit a high-pitched noise once it reaches full brightness after a minute. I have isolated this down to the bulb itself for some reason. It's not noticeable when there is any sound in the room, but during silent points of games or movies it's noticeable to me.Quality of the construction seems very good when comparing to the Philips bulb that went dead in my projector after just 6 months of light use.

The bulb exploded after only 1 hour of use. It damaged the glass on the bulb housing as well so we now have to find a replacement for that.
