Just stick on a 1/2 folded paper towel and spray with oil. Works great.

Bought this product to assist with the cleaning of the bbq. Personally, I do not feel this brush and the scraper does an adequate job of cleaning. Spent a lot of time scraping and scraping and nothing really coming off. Bristles wore off fairly quickly and did not last the year.

These things are great. Sturdy and last a season or two. Unlike the brushes I used to use, no worries about getting injured by loosened steel bristles. Price is reasonable. Don’t need to fuss to care for it, just leave it out on BBQ year round.
