No, but they were easy enough to put together.

Hello, Thank you for your interest in our products. The item is made with bent plywood and real wood veneer with Walnut wood finish.

Q: When you swivel without sitting in it, does the seat return to center?

No. They only turn when you move them and they'll stay in whatever position you last left them in.

Q: My chairs are brand new and top part chipping off already after just a few days ...We loved the look so threw away the boxes ..Now what do we do???

Ours did the same thing when they swivel and hit the counter. We bought a dark stain pen from building supply store and touch up the chips. It doesn't match perfectly but much less noticeable than the white chips.
