Linkable LED Shop Light 4ft 40W 6000K 4500LM Super Bright, Garage Lighting Fixture, with Pull Chain(ON/Off) 6000K 4PK

Bought I believe 12 of these a number of years ago to replace aging fluorescents in my cellar. They have worked very well and provide great illumination. I still had 4 old fluorescent fixtures with fading light bulbs so I decided to purchase 4 more. When I get a chance to change the ones in the garage, I will make the same purchase again. Well packed, easy to install, very light, can be plugged one into the other, have a fairly long electrical cord, switch, Good product.

I purchased these for my son's garage. They were easy to install and really lit up the area. He loved them!

Right out of the box I became slightly skeptical as the feel was not exactly what I had thought. Felt pretty flimsy made from plastic and I felt like I was going to break them if I didnt handle them with great care.... However for the price I am satisfied. Extremely bright and despite feeling delicate and lightweight was ultimately very easy to install took about 5 minutes. My only cons would be I didnt like that despite linking light units together that they still require independant switching on and off.... I linked two of mine and branched off of the light switch in our garage so that they turn on with the light switch.This is what I had originally intended so I am perfectly pleased, if I had set them up differently I do believe that I would have been dissapointed and more than likely returned them. Overall though as I said, it feels cheap and they ARE cheap but for minimal purposes once mounted are actually very impressive considering the price.

I used these mounted on shelving for plant starter lights. Very bright and they are also very light weight. I discarded the small chains provided with the lights and replaced them with monofilament fishing line. I then suspended the lights on the shelving racks using bungee cords. I rearranged the connection points of the bungee cords on the shelving to change the height of the lights above the plants. Very simple arrangement that worked out well for the application. Be aware that there are no "reflection shields" on the tops of the fixtures, so the lights brighten up the entire room. The fixtures weigh so little that they are easily manipulated and repositioned. A lot cheaper than buying a commercial plant starting cart/shelving fixture, that's for sure..

These lights are bright and easy to install, just plug into an outlet and turn on. The feature to hook them in series is a great addition.

These lights are terrible. Even if you get one that works out of the box, they are so poorly designed. EVERYTHING about it is cheap - down to the links of the chain. It's made of chinese-ium so I expected cheap... but not this bad.I figured all these LED lights are made in china anyway so may as well get cheapies. Nope. 50% bad out of the box. Chain links fall apart. Screws strip immediately. When they heat up they actually bow! Like a parenthesis - ")"The pics on the page are clearly CGI. No way on Earth do these light look like that. We returned what didn't work and kept what did. I was a fool for buying crap this bad so I'll own up to it.

i like the lights, they have higher light output and significantly less electricity usage than the fluorescent lights they replaced, but do have some minor gripes.1) The chains they are sent with for hanging aren't consistent. Ordered 2 packs so should have had 16 chains total, but 5 had uneven lengths for the hooks so the lights hung crooked. Was also missing 2 chains altogether. Not an issue if flush-mounting, but had to pull links out of the others to make them work to hang from joists.2) The sockets to link them together aren't sized right. The plugs all go into wall outlets no problem but the sockets on the lamps themselves are too wide. Requires bending the plugs out to link them together and keeps the plug from fully seating against the lamp it's being linked to.3) Not sure why the description says pull-chain, the lights come with mounted switches instead.
