NATURE PET CarpoLock Premium Carpal Joint Bandage Size S

I bought this splint after my senior rescue greyhound girl was diagnosed with a broken wrist, sadly due to cancer. My vet had suggested pts or amputation. Reluctant to do either I purchased this product. I did have to provide additional padding due to my dog's thin, fragile skin. Within 6 weeks, I was able to remove the splint. She has been able to go on walks, slowly, and has even managed to go downstairs by herself.I would recommend careful measurement of your dog's limb before purchasing. Otherwise I'd heartedly recommend this. Given my girl a new lease of life and indeed extended her life.

This has made such a difference to our dog. The vet thinks he may have torn or snapped the lateral ligament, so this is providing the support that he needs to walk/run in comfort. His whole demeanour has changed back to that of a happy dog. Unfortunately the instructions are in German & Google translate isn't up to the job. Amazon customer services were supposed to be asking the manufacturer for a translation, but 4 weeks on I'm still waiting. The lower strap is quite short, so make sure you measure carefully before you order. When fitting the support, it needs to be snug, but as the neoprene is slightly stretchy this isn't too difficult. On the whole I'd recommend this product.

My dog has been wearing these supports for 6 days and one of the pockets that holds the supporting spring has already given way at the base. The spring now comes out and rubs on my dog’s paw whilst not offering any support. I can’t find direct contact details for the company to request a replacement.

I really like these boots for my dog but i think that the velcro straps could be a little bit longer as it they seem to come off her a bit too easily, especially when any grass etc gets caught in them.I've added a couple of photos of her modelling the product for you. Thanks.

More like my dog does not like it and it keeps falling off

Hopeless...dog walked worse with on - though suspect too small but other one ordered and sent back as too large. Sits in cupboard unused in box. Anyone wants to try then let me know - I've got one spare!

Don't waste your money

Meinem Hovawart wurde das vordere Bein amputiert. Nun muss das andere 45 kg abfangen, was natürlich nicht lange ohne Folgen bleiben wird. Ich Versuche mit dieser Orthese den kleinen Gang um den Block zu unterstützen und das rein und rausspringen aus dem Auto, wenn es nötig wird. Aber um eine maßangefertigte Orthese werden wir nicht herum kommen. Ist wirklich nur eine Zwischenlösung für absehbare Zeit....aber sonst ein durchaus gutes Produkt

The brace is very good- I originally bought the medium, but it was just a little big for my border collie's skinny legs. The small is a much better fit. However I'm only giving it 4 stars because it took a full month to arrive form Germany!

The product seems very sturdy. The sewing is all straight and the seams seem well bound. I hate ordering items and finding that the sewing is crooked, runs off the side, or has hanging threads everywhere. This was neat, straight and tidy. The metal stays are slightly malleable, and slide into the cleverly disguised (hard to see) pockets sewn from a tough woven material, nylon of some sort I think. My dog seems comfortable in it. She acted like her foot was gone for a few minutes, and then upon waving a cookie in her face, she totally forgot the brace existed and went right with life as if her foot had spontaneously reappeared. There is magic in every dog cookie apparently.I also wanted to note that this company has EXCELLENT, above all expectations, customer service. There was a slight problem with my order (the sizing didn't work out, despite falling in to the measurements for a medium, that was too tight.) and they were immediately on it and helping me get the right size, no problem at all. This company is in Germany, and the shipping was still fairly expedient for such a long trip. (To the US)For reference, my dog is a 60ish pound adult purebred Golden Retriever. She wears the large comfortably. I was NOT compensated for my review, this was a genuine purchase for a dog with a carpal hyper extension injury.

Meine Hündin hatte durch eine Beisserei das Karpalgelenk verletzt und es kam zu einem Kapselriss. Mit dieser Bandage kommte ich das Gelenk stabilisieren, unterstützen und ruhig stellen damit es heilen konnte. Meine Hündin musste trotzdem nciht auf Spaziergänge verzichten. Bei Spaziergängen hat es sich aber bewehrt darunter zu polstern, da es sonst zu Scheuerstellen kommen kann.Insgesamt wirklich empfehlenswert
