Consistant heat!UPDATE : BROKE
I waited a bit before giving my review for I wanted to be as precise as possible. When it comes to bringing heat in a home it can be a costly chore and we all want to stay warm as possible. backstory: not a wealthy person by any means and at almost 50 I finally purchased my own home. A fixer upper needing some upgraded electrical. As such I do not have a working furnace as yet but thankfully a well newly insulated home with rooms that can be sectioned off while I do the work needed. I had been running space heaters but thats very costly and ineffecient heat. I researched many panels before settling on this one. Sadly it had zero prior reviews to go upon so I took a chance. Glad I did. One reason was that it doesnt need to be wall mounted. It can be a stand alone unit and it had faster shipping time and was on sale. Secondly it only uses 800 watts so wont strain my electrical. It arrived well packaged for shipping and was pretty easy to assemble. I chose to leave it as a floor unit. I set it to specified temp and let it heat up. Within minutes I did feel pretty good heat coming out the top. It did take a decent while to make a noticeable difference in the room but mind you the outside temps were in the low teend at this time. By next day the room was significantly warmer. Granted there was a "chill" in the air but it def won where space heaters failed. Temps have gone back to normal for this area(teens are a rarity) which is a range from mid 20's to 40's and as of now the chill is gone and room is warm. A consistant warmth where i don't even need covers to sleep. I know this is not supposed to be a "main" heat source and actually supplemental so for anyone using as such should be pleased. Unit works by pulling on cold air around it, heating that air and ejecting it as warm air currents from the top of unit. Effectively warming the air within the space. As such these units do best when in confined spaces to "seal" in the heated air. Overall I'd recommend and will probably add another to my arsenal.UPDATE: So 5 months later and a loud pop...then no heat..just completely stopped working..i loved this thing...now i hate it. forget warrenty and for monet spent should have lasted more than 5 months. no refund/ no exchange past 120 days..im 20 days over it and all i got is to contact manufacturer. cant recommend any longer. be warned.

Not safe for children.
This product is a burn hazard! Front surface temperature was ~160F, which is hot enough to cause serious burns. Not appropriate for households with children.

Warm responsive and efficient.
who knows how much im burning in electricity but these work nice. the button fuctionality is a bit difficult and i wish it was easy just to puch a button and go but its probably effective for keeping little hands from playing around with them. I mounted mine so they look nice and fit agains the wall nicely. Be sure to use your own wall anchors as these stink.

Nice, quiet heater
Works very well for smaller areas. Virtually noiseless.

Silent and can be programmed per day/hour
This is a second ZIONHEAT Heater I purchased (the first being the 1500W version). What I find unique (or at least hard to find):- It's very very quiet. Most heaters when they cycle on/off they use mechanical switches that make characteristic 'click' which for me personally makes it harder to sleep next to them- It sort-of has programmable thermostat build in, most heaters you can set up temperature you want, this one you can set up WHEN you want that temperatureWhat I didn't like (but still give it 5 stars, because no other heater does that as far as I can tell):- The programmable part of the thermostat could be better. You set up temperature independently of the time. For example if I set I want 68F than this is the only temperature I get. Afterwards I can set this temperature to be 'active' on Monday morning, Friday evenings etc. - but I don't get to set different temperatures for different times/days. So it's better than most heaters, but not as good as most HAVC programmable thermostats- The interface is cumbersome. Once you set it up you don't really need to touch it, but the instruction manual isn't very helpful and both units I received don't actually support all the features listed in the manual (for example: you are supposed to be able to set TWO times per day, but mine only support one from-to per day of the week)

Great heater!
I have been using this heater for a couple months now and it works wonderfully and has not budged the electricity bill at all! I bought it so I could hang it on the wall so it would be out of the way but I haven’t hung it yet as it is a little heavy and I bought it for our travel trailer I’m worried it might be too heavy for the thin paneled walls but it is just fine on the wheels! Great value for the money!

Don't expect clear directions!
First thing: I wall mounted mine. Directions are woefully inadequate for wall mounting. No dimensions for spacing of brackets if you wall mount. The expansion anchors are pathetic. Do yourself a favor and use Bore-Fast combo anchor and screws. I am struggling with the operation. It heats up just fine, but I can't set the time. I've only had one day so far - fingers crossed. The positive - it looks great!

Very nice heater
I have been using this in my plant room. I have it set so if temps get to 64 it turns on. I have a separate temp reader in the room that this heater is consistent with. It does take some reading to figure out how to use it, but that doesn’t take long.
