Electric Log Splitter
I recently purchased the PROYAMA Electric Log Splitter 6.5 Ton, and I couldn't be more impressed with its performance. As someone who splits a lot of firewood during the colder months, I needed a reliable, efficient tool to make the job easier - and this log splitter certainly Ease of Use: Right out of the box, the setup was incredibly straightforward. The instructions were clear, and I was up and running in no time. It's very user-friendly and doesn't require any complicated assembly. The controls are simple and easy to operate, making it accessible for anyone to use. Powerful Performance: Don't let its compact size fool you! This 6.5-ton splitter has more than enough power to handle even tougher logs. I've split a variety of hardwoods, and it went through them effortlessly. It provides consistent force, and the logs split with minimal effort, saving me both time and energy. Electric Convenience: I love that it's electric—no more dealing with gas, oil, or fumes. Just plug it in, and you're ready to go! The motor runs quietly compared to gas-powered models, which is a nice bonus, especially if you're working in a residential area or don't want to disturb the neighbors. Sturdy and Safe: The build quality is solid, and it feels very sturdy. The safety features give me peace of mind while operating it. The two-handed operation ensures that my hands are always away from the splitting area, making it very safe to use. Portability: The design is compact yet robust, and the wheels make it easy to move around my yard. It's not too heavy to maneuver, which is perfect for me since I need to move it between different areas to work. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Electric Log Splitter. Great spitter, great service!!!!
Splitter works great. I had one little problem with a small plastic piece and it was replaced without any problems. For a 6.5 ton splitter, you can't ask for a better splitter and the service department is awesome. Thanks Proyama.

Purfect, Splits well. Get the foot petal and mount by the lever for one handed activation. It doesn't split all the way, The ram stops too soon.

This is a Game Changer !!
First i want to say, I've been splitting my own fire wood for 10 years. Bought my first log splitter from Amazon in 2016. The 7 Ton log splitter never gave me a problem. But splitting so much wood over the years, I thought it was time to upgrade with a new Machine. After reading all reviews on several different machines, I chose the Proyama 6.5 Ton Electric Log Splitter with Stand. For the reasons 1, Price was right, 2 it came with a stand, 3 you had the Ram lock, and 4 you threw in the cross wedge. I could of went with a cheaper one, but buying the wedge on its own was more money. SOLD ! I got to tell you i ordered it Monday 19 May 2025. And i was really impressed how fast i received it. Opened it up and assembled it Saturday 24 May 2025, It is recomended to have two people to put it together, I did it by myself in about A HALF HOUR. Eazy! Unboxing it i noticed it was well packaged. Checked the fluid level with the included Allen Key ( Came All Filled ) Plugged it in, purged the air in the system ( NON WAS FOUND ) Started splitting a fresh maple tree that i had delivered. They tell you this machine splits upto 10" I have to tell you, i've split upto 15" log rounds without any issues! The only issue I do have is after 3 Hours of splitting the Lock ring for the ram lock would not stay tight. Went to the local Hardware store and just purchased a 8x1.25 bolt. Using the Cross wedge, is a breeze to split in 4 , And that was the Whole reason i went with this instead of the Built Hard for almost $40.00 Less. If you are looking for a Electric Log Splitter THIS IS THE ONE!! Customer Service answers you really fast for any questions, or concerns, and are Super Helpful!

Stay away from this seller!
Absolute garbage’s! Has air in the hydraulic line and the wheels fall off after rolling 20ft on a flat surface. It struggles with soft wood . Customer service is an absolute nightmare and I am fighting for my money back now for 2 weeks. What a disappointment! I would not recommend buying from this seller. If your order is working good for you but if there is a problem there is no help at all! First time I had an issue like this in 15 years buying stuff on Amazon. Stay away from this brand and seller!

Proyama Log Splitter 6.5 Ton, Wood Splitter Electric Powered 15Amp, with Hydraulic Ram, Electric Firewood Splitting Machine, Horizontal I bought the Proyama Log Splitter on January 27, 2024 because, at 77 years old, hand spitting logs at my cabin was getting tiring and dangerous. This unit arrived on time and extremely well packaged. I thought there was going to be some assembly required but the unit was all assembled. I carefully maneuvered it out the back of my house and tried it out. This unit weighs just under 110 lbs. so one has to be careful when moving it. I split a couple of small logs (7” wide and 10” long). Effortless! But I was not liking the fact that you had to hold done the hydraulic lever at the rear of the splitter then press and hold the start button. All this puts one possibly in harm’s way. But that is my opinion only. It would be too much of a hassle to return this 108 lb. splitter so I decided to keep it and redesign it. I needed to get this onto my boat (1st problem) then wrestle all 108 lbs. off the boat and onto the dock (2nd problem) and then somehow get this thing up 42 stairs to where it was going to live (3rd problem). So I decided to forgo the warrantee and open it up. Somewhat. I removed the hydraulic motor (after draining the 3.5 l of oil) removed the control box and took out the switch. I then added a 5ft. section of flexible electrical conduit with wires in it that matched to gauge of the existing wires. I now had made the button remote and can be pressed from 5 ft. away. For the hydraulic level, I put a 3 ft. ridged plastic conduit pipe over it. I then, with the aid of the mechanical diagram (very well displayed), I started removing bits and pieces until the main ram unit was weighing approximately 60 lbs. or so. That I could handle! This last weekend I took all of it to my cabin, re-assembled it and added the oil. I test ran it a couple of times then retightened all the bolts and rechecked the oil level. Time for main test. This unit operated flawlessly and I felt extremely safe. This is a sweet splitter! Couykld not be more happy with the purchase. Worth every dollar! Some of my neighbours were very impressed with the actionbs of it especially when splitting large heavely knotted logs. Worked flawlessly! I am not advising that people do this to their units as this could be very dangerous. I have a background in medium mechanics and hydraulics.

I use firewood in my wood stove for most of my heating needs. I buy slab wood from a local sawmill and some of the pieces are really big to handle and/or fit into the woodstove. I needed a log splitter to help me with these pieces. I am 80 years old and not as strong as I used to be. I have been using this splitter now for three months and it works perfectly. It was easy to set up and operate. I can use it indoors at my woodshed during winter without fumes from the large gas-powered splitter that I need for the really huge and knotty logs so I have a steady source of kindling and easy-to-burn smaller pieces. I can very highly recommend it to anyone with similar needs.

I’m going to review this purchase in several parts. I received the item on August 6th. I bought the model with the stand, which requires some assembly. The instructions for assembly are well written and easy to understand. The assembly steps were also well illustrated. 5 out of 5 for this. As they suggest, it is a two-person job. The electronics for the splitter are in a metal box on the left side of the splitter. That includes the on/off switch, and the circuit breaker reset button. The power switch was loose and pushed inside the box when you pressed on it. I took the cover off the box to try to fix this. It turns out there was a crack on the cover for the box. The plastic ring that is supposed to hold the on/off switch in place was also cracked. I glued it back together and waited a day for it to dry. The power switch did not protrude from the electronics box far enough to fasten the repaired plastic ring that holds it in place. I was able to adjust this by moving a plastic piece inside the box that controls how much of the switch protrudes from the box and then attaching the glued-together ring. That did the trick, and I was able to use the splitter. 1 out of 5 for the quality of the switch assembly and the workmanship. After using the splitter for the first time we found the weather-proof cover for the circuit breaker reset switch on the ground. I took the cover off the electronics box again and repaired it in the same way I repaired the power switch. Also 1 out of 5. I contacted the company for replacement parts, but they were out of stock for six weeks. The replacement parts ultimately arrived on October 9, 2024. Again, 1 out of 5 for the delay. Once the repair to the power switch was done, I was finally able to split wood. Overall, I was very pleased with how well the splitter works. It was strong enough to split almost every piece of wood I placed on it. It allows you to split wood up to 22½ inches, but I was splitting 12-inch pieces. There is a bolt you can tighten to keep the splitter from retracting the whole 22½ inches after it splits a log. I set it for 14 inches. Unfortunately, it would not stay tight after four or five logs, and I had to wait for the slide to retract the whole 22½ inches before I could start another log. The company said they would send me an M8 bolt to use, but it did not arrive with the other parts. Overall, 4½ out of 5 for operation of the splitter. It would have been 5 out of 5 without this problem. To split a log, you must hold down the power switch with one hand and a lever with the other hand. This forces you to stand at the head of the splitter to use it. This keeps you safe from logs flying off to the sides of the splitter. (This can happen with any splitter.) It’s a good safety feature. Apart from all the initial assembly problems I am very please with this splitter.

We are an older couple who needed a splitter to cut up chunks of wood from several dead trees on our property. I did a lot of research online to find a splitter that did not cost a lot of money but sounded solid and easy to use. This splitter is definitely it. We did have to get someone else to lift it onto the ground because it is incredibly heavy, in order to assemble it. Once it is assembled, it is easy to move on its wheels. You do have to use a dedicated electrical circuit for it. It split all of the chunks of wood that we had, even ones that were much bigger than recommended. It is an incredible machine. Highly recommended. Do wear gloves and a face shield when using it.
