10/10 great knife
Beautiful knife for the budget. Fits super comfortably in the hand, not too heavy. It feels incredibly sturdy. Button lock could be a little nice, but its super easy to use. Works great. I love the brand. Comes with a protective case, but i'll never use that. This stays on me. No need for a case!

exceptional
Build quality is unheard of for such a price, the clean lines and smoothness of the operations of this knife are incredible, again unheard of at such a price. Upon arrival straight out of the box, the knife was very sharp. Fits nicely in either hand, and of course was able to adequately open and close with either hand. The only concern that I have from this knife is... the grip is so comfortable, no rough spots of any kind, fearing that it my slip out of hand. Other than that this knife is flawless. My first purchase of a Civivi Blade, I am sure that I will purchase others.. outstanding A++

Much better quality than expected! Excellent value!
This pocket knife is an excellent value. The cost is very reasonable and yet the quality seems like it should be where it would cost at least twice as much. It’s solidly built and the opening action is smooth. It’s actually kind of fun to fidget with. The blade came very sharp and even though I’ve only had it for a short time. It looks like it will hold its edge for a long time. Even though it is a large knife, it feels lighter unexpected. It is not unreasonable as an EDC.

Very nice knife but a little pricey for what it is.
I will admit I suffer from "shiny object syndrome". When this knife was released I bought one immediately. I lost it while fishing a few weeks later and immediately replaced it. Now, a few months later I don't carry it because, well for one thing, it's a little too flashy for general use. People tend to be a bit shocked when they see it. I had a lady gasp when I deployed it to open a box once. The Nitro-V steel seems very good and the button lock is superb (PLEASE Civivi: release a button lock mini Praxis!!!) The knife is well made but the aluminum frame is just a little slippery. Honestly, this knife would be a 5-star purchase for many/most people but the bloom is off the rose for me personally. I suppose if I had bought a more discreet version I would likewise give it five stars. Price/performance is just OK. If the knife were $20 cheaper I would say that changes to "good". I could see sale prices getting down to that <$50 level.

Actually quite nice
I have collected pocket knives for a long time and probably have at least 50 at this point, from at least a dozen makers including fancy Spyderco, Benchmade, Zero Tolerance, and custom hand made knives.I especially like flipper knives so I have many, mainly Zero Tolerance (generally the best production made) and a Spyderco Smock (nice but very overpriced for what it is). This is my first CIVIVI and right out of the box it has been very impressive. The action is very smooth, and since the blade is on the larger side, the mass of the blade material does most of the work in moving the blade. In contrast the Spydero Smock blade is light in comparison and takes more force to move, and the Zero Tolerance 0450 even more. The 0450 also becomes extremely difficult to open after a few months of carrying and ZT won't fix it claiming users just "forgot" how to deploy a flipper :eye_roll:But back to the CIVIVI Button Lock Praxis... wow. Smooth deployment like a Zero Tolerance, large blade with a big belly perfect for slicing, and I happen to like metal scales and the aluminum is pretty nice.I bought this for less than seventy money units and it is worth twice that, if you don't require a "fancy" name brand stamped on the blade. If you are looking for a fidgety EDC knife to play with during the day, to slice open boxes and apples or cut rope, and you don't want to worry about damaging an expensive knife, get this one.

You could probably stick with the linear lock praxis
Don’t get me wrong this knife is very fidgety and fun to play with and it’s basically an upgraded version of the normal praxis which is already a phenomenal knife imo, but for the price this knife doesn’t do much better then that one 😅, I could maybe argue the locking mechanism is safer but that’s about it, in a vacuum tho this knife is very good, razor sharp out the box, deploys quick and smooth, for a flipper decently tough, but if your looking for a “budget” edc you would be just as well off looking at the linear lock praxis for like half the price of this one, and you could find higher quality knives in this price range but I’m gonna rate this knife 5 stars because I do RLY like the comfort and feel of this knife and my only real gripe with the knife is the higher cost point but it is made with higher quality materials so that argument is kinda weak and idk enough to say if it’s over priced or well priced it’s just something I took note of

Great for the price
Pros: Sharp blade out of the box, dry shaves hair. Great ergonomics even for large hands. Blade is extremely wide and can be sharpened for years even with material loss.Cons: Button lock makes the knife feel less secure. (Just a blade locked at the pivot without a full tang lock.) Scales are smooth and can be slippery if hands are sweaty. Button lock placement may be triggered accidentally. Using the button to flick open the blade doesn’t always work as it bounces back to the half closed position.

Nice Knife
Prompt shipping. Genuine product. This knife is a beast. Sharp right out of the box. Good action. If you are looking for a reasonably priced large button lock flipper, this is it. The blade might be a tad thin for rough use, but I am very happy.
