Hemline Dressmakers Bridal and Lace Pins 25mm, pk of 25g

I used this product to pin out and block a fine crocheted item which had been soaked in PVA/water mix to stiffen it.The pins did not cause any rust marks but they did cause a bright green staining where they touched to fabric. DO NOT USE FOR THIS PURPOSE.The pins are very small and difficult to push in

Really good pins, I used them with a water and pva glue solution on crochet thread and there were no marks from the pins at all. Very pleased

these dressmaking pins are ok but I think they still look too thick to machine across as I understood from a sewing program on TV was the purpose of them and that they were to work with very fine and delicate materials (this is why I purchased them). They are exactly the same thickness as my regular dressmaking pins, just very much shorter. OK! not what I expected.

Pins! Sharp, pointy objects made of wire. The title 'Bridal and Lace Pins' still puzzles me. Why does a bride need special pins? I'm not a bride, but bought them because they are made of brass and can be soldered.

Value for money.

What I expected, except that they were not nickel plated brass as stated on the label, but nickel plated steel!I found out when they left a nick in my side-cutters!
