Great product! My cat was having difficulty keeping his whiskers out of the water & kept moving his plastic water bowl, so I decided to buy a water fountain. I chose this one based on other reviews, & I 'm glad I purchased it. It was very easy to set up. I like that it's stainless steel, easier to clean, has filters, so the water is always fresh. It comes with a mat to put underneath to keep the floor clean. I have not had any issues with any splashing at all. It is VERY quiet--I can't hear the motor running at all. My cat is generally opposed to anything new or noisy, but he used it right away. Definitely worth the money!

My cat loves this water fountain. It is very quiet. Easy to set up and use. Sturdy metal. Easy to clean. Holds a large amount of water. Keeps the water clean and cool. I love it too.

This is a very nice fountain with quiet operation, even with the flower attachment installed. There are few plastic parts, which helps keep the slimy buildup to a minimum. My cat used it immediately as soon as I turned it on. It has a large capacity so you can fill it less often. It’s very easy to take the fountain apart for cleaning. I gave this 4 stars because there are a couple of improvements that would make the product perfect. There is no “minimum” fill line, only a “maximum” fill line, so you can’t be sure the water level is correct for proper operation. There is a switch to toggle the blue light on or off. I don’t know the purpose of the blue light, but I prefer it off. The metal for the base seems somewhat flimsy, resembling a hotel ice bucket. It may be easily dented if you were to drop it. Overall, I would recommend this cat fountain.

Very happy with purchase. I had previous purchased the Veken water fountain that was plastic and was very pleased with it. We have had it for over 2 years with no issues. Water retention was very good, only needed to refill it every few days. Disassembling and reassemble to clean all of the parts was easy and filters were readily available to purchase through Amazon. After 2+ years of use, the motor started to sound quite loud but still worked like a champ. We only had to replace it as the base got a crack from something being dropped on it. I decided to upgrade to the stainless steel and couldn't be happier. It is even easier to clean and a little brush was provided to help with cleaning. Motor is so quiet, we can't even hear it! Cat loves it and it looks very sleek (an unexpected plus). It looks just like the pictures showed. It even has separate buttons for the light and the pump (the other model only had an on/off switch. Maybe because it was an older model?). Overall very pleased with the purchase and highly recommend.

I like the idea of a fountain but I never wanted to buy one because I don't want to have to clean it all the time. Unfortunately my crazy little one and a half year old Siamese loves to drink out of a running faucet. I was going away for a few days and was worried about him not drinking water, or at least enough water, out of a regular dish. So I took the plunge and bought this one. It took a couple of days but he got into it and it works great. It's not noisy. When I first set it up there was a noise but after the first time I cleaned it, it wasn't noisy at all. Not sure what I did differently. When there is a noise it sounds like water dripping from a faucet and sometimes I can hear the low vibrating sound of the filter. I don't think either sound is bothersome. It needs to be cleaned once a week and the filter needs to be changed every two weeks. It also says somewhere that it should be replaced every two years. My 8-year-old tortie is not interested and still drinks out of her regular dish. Luckily she's easy going. My little crazy Siamese, not so much. Luckily he's adorable, sweet and has a great personality!

My cat loves it! We switched from plastic Catit fountain. Although I love Catit products and my cat does too, I found that the fountain was prone to slime and algae buildup. It was hard to clean out every little gap and the seams in the plans I did not help. This fountain is stainless steel and made very simply yet very well. There are no seams for bacteria and algae to buildup on and every part is easy to clean, including the pump. What’s even better is that all the main components are dishwasher safe! It does have very good capacity so I don’t have to refill it as often. In addition, there is a switch for the light. So you can turn the light off if you like. I can go on and on about all the pros of this fountain. Worth the price!

It took the cats a couple days to get used to it before they drank from it. Now they do no problems, and they still like to lick the shower curtain after a shower. They did that before anyway. Only thing different from the Catit fountain we had before is the motor is a little louder, but not too much so. We only notice it when water level is low or it’s actually quiet quiet in the house (no zoomies time). Easy to put together and operate.
