Ball end snapped off the first E string only got it up to B and snap it flew off across the room so had to tie it on the conventional wayThe strings are nice and sound good slightly heavy feel like 11-12s with a soft touch just disappointed with the 1st E-string snapping

I found these strings to be a little too heavy for me. but they were good .

I've been using these intermittently for over fifty years, which tells its own story. However, I would prefer a slightly lighter gauge version if it were available.- though this is just subjective personal taste, obviously.

Beautiful tone,but seem to take ages to stop stretching.
