UPDATE:8 months later these are still going strong. I never take them off. Have not turned any weird color, lost a gem or a gem lost their sparkle. These are definitely a great buy!—————I absolutely love these! I’ve had these piercings for a while but was not happy with the jewelry I had access to, until these. I wear my hair up a lot and was tired of having these long post sticking out, ruining my ear party look...These are the 4mm length post/bar and they are perfect length for my cartilage and my tragus (everyone’s ear is different). I’ve included a kind of blurry picture for you to see how the look from behind. They sit right on your skin but don’t feel tight. My skin is a bit swollen because I just got them on like 10 mins ago. If I don’t update this review in the next few days then you can assume these are still going good.Now.....Be ready for a challenge! It took me 1.5 hrs to get these on. I initially lost one gem because it fell to the floor, then immediately lost the other, spent some time kneeled on the floor with a flash light, found them, cut my nails, struggled for another 30 minutes or so and then finally got them both on. Once I got my cartilage one on then I figured out the tragus one faster. They are tiny (see pictured compared to the 6mm long post/bar I was wearing), but if you are looking for minimal jewelry yet femenine, these are definately it! Worth the hassle and all.You could go to a piercer but with the pandemic I did not feel like having people touch my face.

Because I have my nose double pierced, using L-shapes were a hassle. They would get tied up together, the further one would scratch and tickle the back of my nose, and I just didn’t find them comfortable. I also don’t like bone shapes because they fall out too easily. After searching everywhere, I finally found the PERFECT flat backs! These are incredibly secure, and I barely even notice they’re there! No tickling, no readjusting, nothing! I got the 6mm 3 piece set, in case I lost one in the process of putting them in my nose, but I didn’t end up needing the 3rd one. They’re not very hard to unscrew or rescrew on at all. I think in total I spent 10 minutes putting both in, but that’s because it’s difficult to put them in my nose backwards. If you have trouble getting the ball off, just use some rubber gloves to get a better grip on the jewelry.For those unsure of sizes: If I were to make the purchase again, I would get the 8mm for the furthest stud because the cartilage there is just a little thicker, but overall it isn’t a big deal. The 6mm in both works just fine! I would NOT have been able to fit a 4mm in either piercing. It would have been too short and dug into my skin. Hope this helps!

Purchased the 6mm for my nose piercing. The 18 gauge is perfect. I’ve had my nose pierced for 12 years but removed my stud about 1.5 years ago. I missed my nose piercing so I purchased these with a taper and it was super easy and the jewelry is perfect. Glad I went for it. Great quality, perfect gauge and the gem is a good size. Two thumbs up.Edit: unfortunately have to update on these studs. The gem didn’t stay screwed in tightly longer than a couple days. Had continuously screw the gem back down and the whole stud would pop out from time to time. I was lucky I could find the pieces every time until last night. Went to scratch my nose and the entire stud and gem were gone. Luckily I have a retainer I could put in, but I cannot find the jewelry that fell out. Wanted to love these, but didn’t work for me. I purchased a push pin stud to replace these.

I got this as a nose piercing. This is the first one I purchased after getting it pierced. The 8mm is way too long. I don’t have a tiny nose or anything. The flat part of the post goes all the way across the inside of my nose and pushes against the other side. Also, the screw on the gem is so so tiny. Almost impossible to put in. I get that it should be a thin screw to fit inside the post, but it could be longer to make it easier to handle. Overall I wouldSuggest 6mm for nose and also suggest that they make the screw longer. The gem is nice though.

Super cute!! Unfortunately like everyone else, I didn't realize I bought the SMALL head. It took literally an hour to put in. The second photo is everything I tried to use to get it in. The pliers were finally successful. I'd only buy it again if I had the special tools that make putting it in easy.

Needed an earring due to this piercing getting infected. & this one was the perfect size to allow for healing! A little hard to install due to the stud being so tiny & me having man hands LOL but still got it on and I love it! :)

DO. YOUR. RESEARCH! It appeared way smaller than I expected but I measured it with a caliper, then cross referenced it with reviews and the item description, and everything is exactly as they describe it. I ordered the 2mm head with the 4mm post, but forgot to pay attention to what other people purchased when they said it was too long for a nose piercing- turns out they ordered the 8mm, not the 4mm. I thought 4mm would be good since my nostrils are a little thicker, but boy was I mistaken! Also, the STONE is not 2mm like I expected, it’s the whole head, as the item states. Again, my mistake.Read reviews and descriptions thoroughly, don’t make my mistake. I won’t return since they didn’t do anything wrong, I just don’t know what to do with this now unless I get an ear piercing in a thin portion of my ear, which won’t be happening anytime soon.

I bought these for my forward helix piercings and they are the perfect size. Not too big not too small. A little difficult to put on but haven't lost one yet. They dont irritate my ears either. Just purchased another set.

Extremely difficult to manipulate with bare hands, but once installed make a wonderful subtle add-on to your piercings.

Son muy bonitos, sin embargo el modo de enroscarlo es malisimo... resulta de hecho imposible su colocacion. Los tiene que poner alguien mas, porque es tan pequena la bolita que no se puede enroscar.
