This is a very clean chlorella powder, it's refined of impurities and the consistency is smooth and very fine. It blends into liquids completely, although if left to sit for a while, it will start collecting at the bottom, which is normal.The powder is potent in scent, you can smell it as soon as you take the lid of, which reassures me of its quality and effectiveness. It has a bit of a taste, but I like to mask it in orange juice, which takes the kick out of it and makes it more palatable.The jar, like many of KIKI Healths supplements, is glass, which is great for reusing and reducing microplastic sources in the home.

I tend to view chlorella as a superfood. Whether such a thing actually exists or not is open to much discussion, but nevertheless chlorella is packed with nutrients and has good benefits believed to be associated with it. I’ve been periodically taking it for quite some time and view it as a trusted health food staple. It’s a freshwater algae packed with nutrients; not just those mentioned here, but plenty of minerals, antioxidants and B vitamins amongst others.Naturally, I’m looking for pure sources, so this ticks all the right boxes. It isn’t just the purity here, but the organic status, the using of sustainable farms, and that there’s no heavy metals or toxins, which makes this such a good product. And mentioning heavy metals, chlorella is believed to help eliminate them too.The jar is a larger jar than some of the other KIKI Health products, and allows for daily servings of two teaspoons. Of course, one doesn’t have to always take the recommended daily amounts, depending upon what else is in the diet or one is supplementing with, so the jar can potentially last even longer.The powder mixes well with water, but I’ll admit to using a mini blender rather than using a spoon, of which it works a treat. The chlorella is fine by itself and quite drinkable, but it can very easily be mixed with other powders (which again might be a good way to make the jar last longer). It’s an excellent powder to add to sports drinks, protein shakes or just healthy drinks as it adds a good nutrient and health boost. I’m always a little wary of detoxification claims, but if chlorella does indeed help eliminate harmful heavy metals from the body then I suppose it does in a way detox. Detoxification or not, I’ll take chlorella anyway for everything else associated with it and the fact that I invariably feel particularly well with it in my diet.Another positive is the cracked cell walls for better absorption, which is worth looking for in chlorella products.This is a great product from a great brand, and one I can certainly recommend.

Chlorella has many nutritional benefits and is recognised to help flush the body of heavy metals and provide fibre and protein whilst providing protection against oxidative stress.The powder has a dark green colour which t’s recommended to take two teaspoons in water or juice, but you can also mix it in with recipes. It has a pretty disgusting taste, akin to what I could describe as slightly ‘earthy and fishy’. Personally, I would be looking to take these in capsule form and not raw powder as it is just quite disgusting to mix and use.Overall, whilst I don’t doubt the quality of the supplement the taste is not really for me, along with the colour which is seriously off-putting. I can’t really recommend this organic raw powder and would suggest capsules.

This is a nice quality Chorella powder. Mixes well and has a good taste (not too fishy!). The packaging is good quality and looks good too. A nice product but a little more expensive than those that come in the pouches rather than a glass bottle.
