This thing is really cool! My orange cat Ronald Weasley loves to just tackle it... IT DOSENT BUDGE! It was a breeze to install! I need like 3-4 more of these bad boys so my cat can climb all the way up high! I can’t wait to expand on our cat wall.-Art of Paws has some AMAZING cat installations. The quality has been so nice. -Everything is finished well and fits with most colors as they are a neutral dark wood color.-The boxes that this stuff comes in IS AN EVEN BIGGER BONUS! My cats love a GOOD BOX! These boxes are the best.... I may add a small pillow and make a pet bed out of it.

And it looks beautiful on my wall to boot :)It came fully assembled in the box, it couldn't have taken more than 4-5 minutes to mount it, and there is absolutely no hardware showing whatsoever.Those were basically the only three things I needed out of it, but what about the kitties? None of it would matter if they didn't use it!Well I'm happy to say they can't get enough of it :)I ended up buying an additional shelf as well, because both kitties want to be on it all the time! This is actually a huge relief, because the whole reason for getting a cat shelf to begin with was because we just got a new puppy and my 2 older cats are less than interested in in getting to know him right now lol...This certainly did the trick, so thank you!

*Update 8-9-2018* I plan on purchasing 2 more of these. Two of my cats enjoy them, particularly the youngest orange cat.(First Review) These are nice and great for the price. However none of my four cats are interested in them. :-(

Supplied plastic anchors are extremely cheap. When used to try to screw post to wall, they break. If you try to screw directly into a wall stud, the nut inside the post slips and the bolt recedes into the post not allowing enough length to attach to the wall correctly. The post themselves are cardboard coated in thin sisal material.

The post itself is nice, but the included hardware and directions are terrible. I had to visit multiple store to find a working replacement for the wall anchor. The one included is incredibly cheap and flimsy and wont hold up to the weight of even a small cat.

One of my cats, Bonsai, LOVES heights and to keep an eye on things. I've been trying to figure out a good way to put up perches/shelves for him, and stumbled upon this on FB. It's of very nice quality, with material wrapped around the perch that cat claws can gain purchase in. It does require a drill with an 8mm bit for install. Included is a plastic anchor to ensure it will support the weight of the perch and your cat if you install into drywall. I installed mine into a stud instead. It was a quick, less than 5 minute install. Bonsai approves, as does Tsunami. I plan on purchasing a cat shelf also for my older cat. She can't do the small perch.

I ordered this perch to go along with the cat shelf by the same seller and am very happy with the solid feel of both items. I like that I can place this near the shelf for my cats to stretch and scratch on or I can place it in its own location as a separate scratching post. I have 5 cats (foster fails), so I'm always looking for things to spoil them with. Having one more thing for them to scratch (aside from my furniture) is amazing!I had to reach out to the seller with a question, and her communication is prompt and friendly.

This arrived yesterday and was already a little worried by a lot of the reviews. The unit itself is a little wonky, but my cat won't use it as the main scratching post- it's mainly a quick hop-over bridge between shelves. What I ended up doing is: A. Put it up as they recommend. If you hit a stud, you're golden. If not, B. Spin the wooden circle on so that it is up against the wall & drill two holes into the the circle deal, into the wall on either side of the bolt. (You'll want to mark them so that after spinning it on the bolt you will line up correctly to your fasteners.) C. Spin the wooden circle off and put your hollow wall fasteners into the holes. D. Spin it back on, fairly snug this time and put your screws into the holes into the fasteners. E. Spin the post on until it's tight. Note : You'll need to get a couple of the fasteners that go into sheet rock as pictured. They make them metal or plastic- and they're awesome. The manufacturer should add something like this to their design as the plastic spreader type-one that comes with it is not going to hold it on the wall. I used it just because I needed the bolt to thread the post on- but it isn't doing much more than that. Hopefully this helps someone else. Overall, it's a nice addition to the kitty play wall. I reduced it by a star for the extra steps just to have it be usable.
