Jeff Lindsay Novel Dexter Series Collection 8 Books Set (Dexter)

Extremely happy with my purchase! I love this box set! I only wish that came in hardcover.

Great condition. All new. No damage. Glad with my purchase. So far so good. I’m on book two in a matter of four days. Some scenes you can relate to the show but for the most part it is very different. Which isn’t bad if you have an imagination. Because it’s like watching extra show in your head if things played out differently. Also gives you more of an insight of what goes on in Dexters head. There are some grammar and spelling issues that I have spotted which annoy me. But not enough to make me hate the books. And I probably only caught it because I read so much. I am very much Looking forward to the next book.***UPDATE***I am now on book 5. Like I said the books are different from the show. And in reading the books I have honestly come to appreciate how much of an effort and how talented the script writers of the show truly are. The books are not bad. They do seem to depict Dexter as a weaker individual then the show portrays him to be. Which I do not personally Like. But The stories are fairly well put together even if some are not as realistic as they should be. Honestly I feel is the book one and book for are my favorites so far. But everyone is different. I do recommend these books still they are a very interesting read and I honestly believe that they bring a certain appreciation to the writers of the show which as an artist is truly important. The books are not bad just be mindful that they are a bit different there is very few similarities but it is fun to spot them out so again I do recommend these books and I hope that you enjoy them.

I watched the TV series first then when I found out it was based on a book series I had to read them. This was an excellent series to read. Though I got to say so far I’m on the last book and it is the most engaging so far. This author does well to do his research and due diligence on his details.

Worth the money

Vinieron bien empaquetados, los libros tienen letra de buen tamaño y se sienten de buena calidad. Solamente hubo un detalle mínimo con el último tomo, pero seguramente fue cuestión del servicio de paquetería.

This series is very well written and easy to read, you forget that Dexter is truly evil & find yourself silently cheering his successes.

I bought this collection after finishing ‘Dexter: New Blood’ hoping this would offer a more satisfying end to the story of Dexter.The first book is almost identical to the first season, except the ending, and then all the books follow their own path.I particularly loved Dexter in the Dark, Dexter by Design, and Dexter is Dead, but my ABSOLUTE favorite was Dexter is Delicious. I was glued to the story the entire time, this could stand next to any of the best seasons of the Showtime series.I definitely enjoyed the final book in the series, and compared to the two finales the TV show has had, this one feels more earned, deserved and fitting. In my opinion.I’d highly recommend this series and can’t wait to go back and read it all again in a few years!
