Elemental Divination: A Dice Oracle

Nice...
The book offers a good alternative to dice use. Could be an interesting jumping off point to use with RPG's or tarot.

Amazing Book
So grateful I found this book. Dice have always fascinated me. Something so simple yet complex on levels beyond the normal thought of a simple six sided cube. I carried a single die on me for a large chunk of my adult life and would use it to make decisions with evens being yes and odds no. Or if trying to decide between three things I would group one choice to 1&2 the other with 3&4 and the last with 5&6. My life and the way I see things completely changed almost three years ago. To find this book that ties in a close friend of mine from the past (the die) with something important to me now (the elements, sun and moon) is just magical. This book teaches you everything you need to know using one die, or three dice (you choose) and what each cast means. The meanings are beautifully written and show a true understanding of the elements and how they affect things on many levels. If your like me and have always been "pulled" towards dice for some unknown reason and you are the type of person that sees things "differently", get this book! I love it, and I think you will as well.

Fun, easy, and accurate!
finding this oracle book very useful. It adds good depth to my use of tarot, oracle decks. and gives helpful guidance on it's own. Plus it is simply fun to use. Highly recommend to anyone into divination. learning more about elemental energies. anyone who likes I Ching, tarot, runes, oracle decks. Or beginner just wanting to explore divination. This is super easy method to learn, very accurate and helpful.

Great dice divination system
Really clever book for dice divination. 2 dice for the four elements plus sun and moon, with the 3rd dice as a modifier. Really enjoying the explanations and the system is easy to pick up.

A beautiful book
This is an awesome & beautiful book, filled with inspiration for when we need a little guidance from a higher power. I have the paperback & Kindle, but would knock of half a star for the Kindle formatting. Maybe it's different on your device, but when I want to access a reading from the page number table in the back of the book, I need to subtract 8 from the page given, then all good. It took some time to figure out & was quite frustrating. But doesn't spoil this work of art. This is an edited review

Nature Speaks the Truth
Beautifully written, vivid mental imagery, amazingly informative and accurate and fun! I liked the cover and the description. I bought it and loved it immediately. A friend of mine consulted it today. She had the same reaction as I did.

I'm enjoying it immensely~
Beautifully written and insightful. This is a system that works somewhat like the I Ching or Geomantic Figures- where design elements line up to produce symbols with significance. I'm enjoying it immensely~

Divine, but poor indexed
A great way to learn a new way to divinate with dice. The book presents a very new and original way to conect the faces of the dice with the elements, the Sun and the Moon. The tone of the book and its contents are very well laid, and are handled in such a manner sot that you do not need to be an expert in the topic to get it.Mr. Ball explains the history of dice related to their use in divination through the ages. He gives a (very) brief introduction to the symbolism of the elements and their relationships so that you can, at some point, derive your very own relationships and meanings to the different elemental combinations.I personally enjoyed the book and find the method quite interesting. Although I would have enjoyed a little less "positivism" in the meanings; personally I think that it takes away a lot of the "teaching and revelatory" significance to an oracle. The reason why I give such a low rating is because in the case of the Kindle version, the contents are POORLY structured. There are no graphics for the chapters as the printed version, but most annoyingly, there's no "go to" index nor hyperlinks from the tables which, are also not very well formatted for a screen.Given that this book is intended to be used as part of the oracle, so that you are able to cast the dice and then search for the meanings, the lack of index and hyperlinks on tables makes the experience tiring and "disconnected", making it hard for me, at least, to stay engaged and explore the method deeper. For the moment being, I just cannot recommend the digital version, I think you will be better off with faster "access" in a printed edition (as odd as it sounds).I get this is an early version, so I have high hopes that this issues will be fixed soon through a book update.A very, very interesting method nonetheless.
