It is a good concept yet when hanging on door it didn't help keep door closed as tight as we wanted. Plus we hang things behind the door and if the stopper is on the door you might forget it is there and cause some damage to the door. I didn't want to risk it so I returned it.

Keeps door open a little but not enough to get my ECV into my room at Disney World. Too late to return.

You would be better off making one out of a 2x2 and a hook. That’s pretty much what it is in metal.

This looks qualityThis does stop the door.This looks decent and blends in.BUT, it could cause problems, if someone does not realize that the block is in the door hinge. They may push on the door hard and break your door. It has not happened yet, but I do worry. So, when I have kids around, I use the block as a normal doorstop, as it is weighted a bit, and put it on the floor to hold the door open. When the kids are gone, I use it in the door hinge area as advertised and it works great! If you don't have kids around, then this is an ingenious invention.

We have a heavy fire door that separates our garage from the rest of the house. It's very hard to use a door stopper on it because it's so heavy and it swings over tile so standard door stoppers struggle. This stopper is perfect though because it doesn't rely on friction. It just jams the door open. Placement and removal is very easy and makes it so much better to bring in our groceries or take out the garbage. A+
