I've got tomatoes, cucumbers (now repotted), basil, squash, and a variety of peppers that I planted.First of all, the obvious, these are a little rinky-dink. You get what you pay for and I'm not complaining. I just want to be clear, this is not some outdoor-ready, durable product. That said, as long as you're not abusive with it, it seems durable enough for its purpose. But, for example, it would not be hard to accidentally crush one of the lids. Also, speaking of the lids, the discs with the lights just kind of rest on top of the lid and they're both light and easily moved. In fact, the power cables themselves tend to pull the discs off the top. My solution was to take some wire and tie the discs to the tops. This has worked wonderfully. This keeps them always in the open position, but I haven't found to be a problem at all.Everything is doing well except the squash (not because of these, though).The only place I have for seedlings gets morning sun only, so I love that it has the LED lights. I feel like my plants are doing great for how little sunlight they get, so I'm assuming that's in part, because of the lights.The bottom is two trays. The green tray is a big open tray with a clear tray inside with the cells. The inner tray drains into the outer tray. This system seems to work really well.I felt like this was a great value for the money. I'm taking care of it and have every intention of using them again next year. In fact, I might buy a second set to do more stuff next year.

Works great for what I needed

Decent seed starter kit for the money. I didn't expect much for $20. The zinnia seeds sprouted within days. I transplanted them into 5 oz. Dixie cups bathroom type cups at the 2 week point because they were water logged and starting to smell bad. About two thirds of them were viable for transplant and survived. The photo is about a month out total. I do think the light kit was helpful. I did not use a heat mat but just have them in front of a warm, south facing window. I spray them with water each day just to keep them damp but not soggy. It's too soon to transplant outside in Ohio now so we'll see what happens. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I worked in a wholesale greenhouse for several years and didn't need to start my own veggies or flowers while working there. I no longer work there so this year I needed a new set up. Got these thinking there's no way the plants would get enough light. Definitely wrong, all 5 containers have peppers in them and they are now starting to outgrow the ones that are a month older. They are all healthy and disease free. I keep the top part open to help vent some of the humidity so I don't get botrytis. I don't overwater because with the dome it causes all kinds of problems.

I love these grow lights for starting seedlings. The only thing that would make them better is if the lids fit a little tighter so I’m not always knocking them off and risking damaging seedlings.

Follow up after 6 wks of use.All good but not enough light for standalone use. May be good to complement a poorly lit natural light area but I need these to supply all the light. Not intense enough for that. Based on that alone they are not useful for me as a couple of 4 ft LEDs strips I normally use when plants get bigger over a similar number of trays/ lids are better and easier for me. Solves all issues. Worth a try, won't be using again.Number of Trays, lids, lights all seem sturdy enough and assuming with care they will last several seasons at least. Plan to use these smaller set before turning on the big set of lights I have for when plants get bigger. Variable timer is nice but can see this getting annoying having to reset if there is a power blip forcing a reset. Should have opted for the ones that are simple on off so that I can use a separate timer for when I am away or forget to turn them on. Second is a question the lid design and transparency to the LED light. With vents close the light can pass through the holes bypassing the plastic but with vents open the light getting to the soil is noticably dimmer. Not as efficient as they could be and I wonder if there will be enough light or if the plants will get leggy. Will contact seller and see if they have alternate lids that don't block do this. If not may return or make extra holes in the lids to allow light through.

I bought a heat mat to go under these but otherwise it has all the components I needed: base, popout seed cells, dome with vent, easy attach lights, and a temperature sensor to go in one, along with a timer to set the program I need. I wanted something easy like this!

The media could not be loaded.  I’m new to gardening and this year I have decided to experiment and start my own garden with herbs and vegetables. Looking at the description, this kit from Verdenu was attractive as inexpensive and had all tools included.The manual included was very helpful, simple instructions and a tip I didn’t know about to test the seeds in water before planting.The trays, qty.6 are holding 12 cells each or 72 plants in total are plenty to start a decent size garden. I have only used 3 of them for now to see how it works but I will expand next year if all works out. I like that the trays are washable and reusable if taken care of and can be used again every year.The bottom green tray is fairly thick plastic and sturdy to hold the soil in and easy to move around as I intend to move them outside in the sun during the day then in the garage at night if gets too cold. The cells trays for soil/plants have a drainage hole at bottom, good size 1 1/2” square by 2” deep, I’m not an expert but I think they are perfect entry level for many veggies, perfect for herbs or flowers.The dome cover or lid, is 3” tall, compared to other once with similar sizes this was the tallest and has the vent adjuster option at the top to keep the moisture in and some fresh air.The tools included are most helpful to start loading the soil in small quantities and not making a mess around, then seeding using the tweezers helps. I felt like I was a surgeon. The gloves included are not very good, they are not waterproof and don’t provide any protection keeping hands clean, disposed.Overall, this package was a good value I’m exited to see what comes out. Molto robusti, capienti e versatili. Ho preso anche un tappetino riscaldante per facilitare i semi a germogliare in condizioni non favorevoli e ce ne stanno 6 perfettamente, quindi entrambi gli acquisti azzeccati. Oppure posso usare il foro per l'areazione di un prodotto simile che ha anche la led light per la crescita su questo modello perche il diametro e' lo stesso quindi diversifico visto che 2 vassoi da 80 non ci stavano entrambi nel tappetino ho messo le 2 luci del secondo vassoio grande su questi piccoli e stanno perfetti. Cosi posso fare prove su quale tecnica, con o senza luce e tappeto termico mi da i migliori risultati di germina. Senza dover comprare troppe luci led. Direi che ora ho piu' di 200 posto per mettere i miei semi e speriamo che vada bene! Acquisto azzeccato e probabilmente ne comprero' altri per semi piu' grandi perche' hanno le giuste dimensioni rispetto ad altri con spazi piu piccoli e meno profondi.

These are great for seedling, especially if certain seeds like extra light or on dark, grey days. All seeds have sprouted.I did place them on a heated mat (not included) too, which also helps germination.Great price & being LED lights they’re cheap to run.

Ich bin zufrieden, es ist alles dabei was man braucht. Es ist gute Qualität und funktioniert. Ich habe nichts zu meckern und werde lange Freude an den Sachen haben. Von mir klare kauf Empfehlung.
