Quality time piece as expected but Amazone shipping a very big disappointment.
The wall clock arrived very well packaged which was very damaged prior to packing in an Amazon box for shipping to me. Whoever packed it knew the clock packaged box was damaged for sure. It was punched in and torn with a 3-inch hole. The Howard Miller heavy duty packing with foam standoff spacers saved the clock from side wall damaged by about 1/16 of an inch. The HM box was put inside a larger Amazone box with a small amount of paper stuffed inside as a cushion. This of course did not keep the HM box from sliding around and one corner of the clock was crushed in somewhat, but the clock is still functional.I am thankful the clock does work properly, and I will not try and return because of Amazon's people issue. As far as the clock it is beautiful and sounds so realistic you will be pleased. Buy it and see.

Nice clock with clean lines and no fuss.
I wanted a clock that didn't have a lot of decorative embellishments - elegant design. I got just that. The sound of the Westminster chime is realistic, warm and soft - just the right amount of volume. I am VERY happy with this clock. It warms the whole room up and adds the coziest of elements. I am very happy with it.

Clock was gifited from my job
I was about to purchase a replacement clock because the chimes stopped working. Replaced the batteries but did not work.. Very sad.. it was a clock that was given to me for 25 years of service from my job, actually it was from their catalog. So I chose the clock. I think the Misses loves the clock more than I do? .. so I tried some other batteries straight out of the pack and what do you know? They chimed I'm so glad I checked second time. It's a Wonderful clock it's a part of the living room. Over 10 years old and it's still working.
