really like the taste and it's full of goodness

I bought these for my hubby's birthday, they are drier, but they are meant to be! My hubby is enjoying them. They have a good flavour.

I have to admit I didn't like these when they arrived at first, seems to be somewhat of an acquired taste. But after a little while I'm starting to enjoy them. The packaging says to take them out and let them air for 15 to 20 minutes, but I would recommend about an hour. I'm not sure why, but the packaging left a distinct chemical taste behind on them. However once that's faded, these are very tasty

Is this the most amazing dry wors? No. Is it great delivered next day to deal with a craving, absolutely . Taste good just I imagine it would be better fresher, prepackaged tends to dry out a bit . Will order again

Not as good as expected. Si dry they where powdery, not how if us supposed to be.

It says:“We only use 100% beef.”The implication is that the product is made solely from beef and spices. This is not accurate. The sausage also contains cereals. The listing mentions both wheat and maize. This is a way of cheapening the product. Worse, it’s a potential hazard for a coeliac, who, relying on the description, might eat this and suffer a severe reaction. Fortunately, I’m not a coeliac, but I don’t appreciate cereals in my sausage and am going to say so. The “droewors” also includes flavour enhancer E635 (which is a mixture of disodium inosinate and disodium guanylate, used to fake “umami flavour”). Somehow I don’t think Boers on the veldt were putting such things in their sausages.

I used to love this droewors, was so tasty and moreish. Now it’s a strange colour, is too fatty and tasteless. So disappointing 😞

I can't say this was something I was homesick for like some reviewers. I love biltong and this popped up a a recommendation. Sounded a bit reminiscent of German Landjaeger, a nice dry sausage we use to get at the German deli. This is lovely. Dry and crisp, perfect casing, a nice crunch and then a chew. Lovely spices, nice meaty flavour. I thought other reviewers who said that theirs only lasted a short time were greedy or weak. But no, these are lovely, moreish and addictive. Only a quarter of the way through my order and contemplating a re-order. Bought this mostly for my son. Poor dear may not get any.
