Battery or Plug in
I'm not into minecraft, but a coworker's son loves it and can't stop talking about it. He really enjoyed this. Though it's supposed to be a night light, and I told him as much, it definitely works as a play weapon that lights up. Super cool, he loved it.

Received a returned item
The package was a little damaged and you could see it was retaped. Once opened Christmas Day the sword would not light when plugged in. Will work on battery only

NOT AS ADVERTISED.
The Minecraft Diamond Sword came all scratched up, in a ripped open box. It looked used, it also only had 2 functions NOT 3, as advertised & did not come with batteries or a cord to charge it with. I am sending it back!
