Worth every penny! Miracle product!
I am a first time mom and always dreamed about how i would breastfeed my baby. Just like many FTM you think it will be an easy road, but it isnt, at least thats how it was for me! To my surprise when my baby was born my colostrum didn't came in until 3 days after delivery and it clearly wasnt enough to satisfy my baby’s needs! My baby would suck desperately, but nothing will come out, he lost 11.8% of his weight after birth (10% is the max they should lose) so the hospital would not discharge him until he got some weight back! so the nurses told me i had to switch to formula, and I was heartbroken! I was crying and so stressed not to be able to nourish my baby :( I even felt guilty about it because he would cry so much (which actually made it worse because stress does lower your milk supply) and If you are reading this review, then you probably are on the same boat, and understand how frustrating it can be! Right after the nurses told me that I had my bought buy me everything she could find on the market to increase milk supply! And I even took it all at once lol! I tried everything! Fenugreek+Blessed Thistle, fenugreek powder to drink, dill, “agua panela”, you name it! It did help increasing my milk supply, but it still wasnt enough for the baby, so I had to stick ro formula for some more time! Until somebody sent me the boobie bar photo, I looked up all reviews on amazon and decided to give it a try! I have to confess that a bar that seems much like a protein bar didnt much sound like something that would work better than a pill, and even taste so good, but they did! And i am so glad i came across them! I have taken them only for 3 days and my supply has almost doubled, i went from a typical extraction of 6 oz in the morning (3 per breast), and 3oz in the later extractions (1 or 1/2 per breast) to an amazing 8-9 oz (4oz per breast) in the morning and consistently 4oz (2 per breast) in the later extractions! I have been able to freeze so much already! More than what i had frozen on 2 weeks! (See picture attached. Flat bags are before boobie bar (2 weeks) blue bags are after 4 days!)So if you are looking for something to increase your milk supply this is the product! It is a bit pricey, but hey! Isnt your little one worth every penny? Not to mention that being able to give breastmilk along with all its benefits to your baby, and also have him breastfeed and bond to you is just priceless! Plus formula is super expensive as well, so is not like you will save money with the formula option!PD. I dont usually leave reviews, but I thought it was worrh the time writing it to help other moms who are on the same boat!

Tastes terrible, works fantastic
Admittedly, I've only been using these for 2 days and, on day 1, I could only eat half a bar at a time (forced my husband to eat the other half). So I'm now down a total of 4 bars, of which I ate 3 full ones in total.First day eating half a bar, I had milk production almost equivalent to my morning production (~60ml after feeding baby, typically 20-30ml at that point if day). Later on, I ate another half of a bar and the same thing happened.I ate a full bar today and same thing. I just ate another full bar. You'll have the full milk produced in 1-4 hours. If you wait 4 hours, you might get leakage. I keep alternating breasts every feed to ensure neither get too full. For the record, I am trying no other products with this. I was supplementing with formula but now exclusively breastfeed. I am 16 days post c-section, milk didn't come in until 5-7 days after and I didn't make enough at that point to breastfeed in spite of pumping & breastfeeding for over a week and a half, both before & after it came in. I pumped every other hour, attempted to breastfeed every non-pump hour to increase supply, ate 2500-3000 calories per day and am still losing ½-1lb per day (down 15.8lbs at this point, which might be part of the supply issue). This really works in spite of all these setbacks, I promise you.The flavor is reminiscent of fiber one bars, but off-brand in quality, has the cooling effect of erythritol (a natural, sugar free sweetener) and the flavor is best described as earthy cinnamon, likely due to the turmeric. The chocolate tastes cheap & fake. Not great, but it works just as good in half a bar as it does as a full bar so you don't actually have to eat the whole thing to get the same result.

Jump started milk supply after c section +baby in NICU
I had a planned c section due to medical issues and delivered at 37 weeks. Because I knew I had to deliver early and via section I was worried that I would my milk (if any) would come in late so I decided to be pro active to start my milk supply and it worked! After the c section once I was cleared for food (about 12 hours later) I ate a boobie bar with my day 1 and day 2 breakfast (also ate 2 boiled eggs, oatmeal, a chicken sausage and drank a lactose free milk). In addition, every 3 hours I pumped. I had to pump because due to lung issues my baby went to the NICU immediately. Day 1 I didn’t get anything but by day 2 I was making colostrum! We collected drops in syringes provided by the hospital and sent them down to the unit for the baby. By the night of day 2 I was making 20ml then 45 per pump and by day 3 I was a full on milk making factory. The last time I ate a bar was day 3 breakfast. My baby’s nurses were so happy and surprised! By discharge day (day 4) they told me that my milk had taken up all of the babies assigned space in the fridge and they would freeze the rest to pull if baby needed more.I’m highly impressed by these bars and will recommend them to everyone- they also taste good. I actually stopped after eating the 3rd bar because my milk is coming in so much and I’m worried about oversupply until my baby is discharged and I can breastfeed directly so if my supply ever drops I’ll start eating them again. They taste like a soft ginger snap maybe? To me they were delicious!Good luck mamas and remember to hydrate! Water and low sugar electrolyte drinks will also help boost your supply.
