Very disappointed with this purchase. The pictures in the ad make this look much bigger than it is. It also shows 3 children in the sandbox playing. There is no way that this box will hold 3 children playing unless each one of them takes turns playing with one toy. There are no measurements on the description so I feel this is very deceiving. This is going to be torn apart and we'll find something else crafty to do with the wood. Just to give others the measurements so they don't have the same experience being misinformed and throw $100 away on this..... base is made with 1x4's. 36x36. As you can see in the pics, 1 child fits if he's the only one playing. My grandson is 3 and not a large child.

I wanted a simple sandbox for the kids to play in during the Fall. This fit the bill, but lots of negatives. It is very cheaply made, one of my planks arrived “repaired” as it must have broke at the manufacturer and rather than replace a 1/2” plank it was glued and then shipped to me. It was a screw short (not a big deal if you’re like me and have extras lying around). After one rain on it, the lid is warped and doesn’t sit properly now. There is no bottom other than a plastic tarp that Velcro’s to the sides. All in all, it works, but in hindsight I should have made my own for $30 of pressure treated lumber. I’d say if you are not handy with tools, this will suffice, but if you’ve got 3hrs and a local hardware store make it yourself.

I’d give it 0 stars but that isn’t an option. Literally the worst sandbox. Mine obviously was put together, taken apart, and then sent to me. There’s a gap in the cover that can’t be closed. Where we put the top/bench part in the dowels, the sides aren’t even. We had to take the arm rests off because the bench wouldn’t fit with them on. The whole thing just sucks. Ours even came with nails sticking straight out of the wood. Our screws even came in a plastic sandwich baggie. And the bench is TINY. No way my five year old can actually sit and use the bench. My almost two year olds butt can barely fit all the way on the bench. I’d return it but I’m just gonna take the loss because there’s no way I’m packing this back up and shipping it back. It sucks and totally disappointed so I’m just gonna have to order a different brand. Hell I might just say screw it and get a cheap plastic one because I’m already out 100$

Really wished that I had taken the time to read the reviews before purchasing. When received my Daughter-in-law could pick this up herself. I knew then that it must not be well made or long lasting wood. I learned my lesson and will be returning at my expense (return shipping charges).

My daughter loves her new sand box and so do we. I loved that it came with the black liner for the save and easy to put together. However, I was disappointed the first few times my daughter went to use this, the stain from the wood came off on her clothes and it won’t wash out. This was purchased in May, it’s now June And it’s already falling apart. The 4 pieces of wood that are attached to the lid to make the bench, 2 of them are already falling off. Granted I was able to push them back on, but spending 100.00 I wouldn’t think it should be falling apart a month later.

Much smaller than I had expected but still good for my 2 small children. The vinyl liner promises to keep out pests and the elements but that has not been my experience. When closing there is a small gap between the planks allowing ants and water to get inside. At least its protected from neighborhood cats. I was disappointed there is no clear finish on this product so I doubt it will be long before someone ends up with a splinter.

liked the size and design of sandbox. May have been a little overprice for product but was exactly what I needed at the time. Functional and easy to use.

Very nice sand box with seating and just right for one small child.Easy to assemble.
