can i use them in a car (oil crush washer)?

My gut feeling is no. They might work for that but the copper crush washer compresses creating a spring back effect on the drain plug and the flat rim around the oil drain outlet. You would be better off using nylon drain plug washers you can buy at any auto parts store or most likely here on Amazon.
