If you have unmarked old drives, you need this - or if you swap drives - easy to use.
Worked on all my drives, found a stash of old hard drive, connected them as needed, it worked for all. Now I have an 8TB drive hooked on to it creating a backup. Wonderful, works great. Do not throw out your old drives, easy to use, open them and find letters and photos spread out through the drives. Wish this were around years ago. Great find, super buy.

Great for data recovery.
I purchased another brand years ago and it failed on day one. This setup is working well for me. I have over 20+ drives from past systems. (I used to build and repair computer boxes) I've used it so far to recover data from five of the drives. I like the system a lot. So far, I've only used it to work on two drives simultaneously. But I had no trouble or problems with the setup. I can easily recommend the equipment to be used in your data recovery efforts. I haven't attempted to clone a drive. I haven't needed to clone a drive yet. So, I can't give you any information in that direction.

Worked great while it lasted...used twice. Updating review...it started working again....?
I changed my review from 1 to 4 stars for now...as I finally got it to working again. Did nothing different...just plugged it in again and it started working. Will leave the review at 4 stars to see if it continues working and doesn't have an intermittent problem.Worked great the first two times I used it. Then today...I hooked it up and it would not power up. The power supply seems to be fine, I checked it with a volt meter. But the device will not power up at all. Even tried it with a known good power supply of the same voltage and polarity and still nothing. Total waste of money to be able to use it twice.

Good idea, implemented poorly.
IDE drive interface was not recognized by the drive reader, other interfaces did not result in creating a drive recognized by Win 11. Tried troubleshooting with several different drives and USB ports but none produced a positive outcome.
