I bought two pairs, the largest for my husband, size 11 and the medium for myself. We took them on holiday to the Lake District and we were so glad we bought them. Underfoot some paths were solid ice with water on the top, absolutely lethal conditions. We would have had to abort our walk but with these on we could both step out confidently. Last year husband ended up flat on his back in the road, very luckily not hurt. This year we had no problems at all. Easy to fit on and my husband used the loop over his boot to keep his on. I found I didn't need the additional strap, they stayed on my boots without any problems. Only thing is it would have been better to have instructions how to fit additional strap, but we did work it out. Also it's best not to stride out and come down on the heel first. The grippers aren't on the end of the heel, so it's best to place your foot a bit flatter each time. Would definitely recommend these.

Ive had these in the cupboard for a year without having to use them. After we had a bit of snow, rain, and then lots of ice, I got them out for walking with the dog on the moors in Lancashire. Absolutely brilliant, everyone else was so unsteady on their feet, these were fabulous and worth every penny. Some people turned back because it was so treacherous, but I got to complete my walk safely, so very pleased.

Fitted well onto my walking boots. Been out walking on very slippery and icy snow-covered pavements. These did an excellent job. Superb grip

Just tested them during a mountain trip where I had to walk on a lot of icy paths and they were great, not slipping off at all and had a great grip on ice. The metal grips are tough and of a good quality, the rubber is thick and strong, would definitely recommend.

I haven't used them yet but they look quite capable of doing their job

Bought these to go running in the ice and snow (There's dedication for you lol) were an excellent buy to help me grip the ice especially during the bad weather. Fit perfectly over my trainers and stay there. Without these I would have found it impossible to negotiate the Ice.

These are the best ice grips I have ever had. I have used them for my numerous dog walks over the last few weeks of bad weather in Scotland and they grip well and never move on my shoes. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Easy to fit, good price too. However Two comments: First ,because the heel tip is the first to strike ground,the heel studs should be further back, say one inch. they seem to be mainly on the sole. Secondly, there is something odd about the Velcro strips, the Velcro should be on opposite sides, so when wrapped round they engage, but now they have to be twisted, underneath to work. this needs attention.

I have tried many brands of winter cleats. This one is by far one of the most reliable ones. This is also very easy to put on and stay put. There are other ones which fit barely and always slide off at the back when you take off your boots. These ones stay put. Also quite good on gripe on snow/icy ground. It takes a while to get used to the spikes especially when you put them on indoors(slippery tile floors). Spikes seem quite sturdy as well and I hope they will stay in place and last a while.

Fit well and go on easy. I’ve walked the icy trails a few times with these on and it makes it so much safer. Definitely a NEED for anyone walking the icy trails.

These work really well except the strap in the middle sometimes comes undone and the velcro gets filled with snow - otherwise the traction on ice is great.

I purchased these ice cleats for a winter hike in the mountains, hoping they would provide the traction needed for the icy terrain. However, these cleats proved to be ineffective and even dangerous. During our hike, my fiancé slipped and fell 10 feet down a cliff, barely hanging on by a branch. Fortunately, we were in a group and our friends were able to rescue him. By the time we reached the car, half of the cleats had fallen off. It was a terrifying experience, and we were incredibly grateful when a friend lent us his Kahtoola MICROspikes, which proved to be far more reliable. These ice cleats may be suitable for walking on flat ice, but they are definitely not suitable for hiking in mountainous terrain. Please heed this warning and choose a more reliable option for your safety. Would give 0 stars if I could.

I can now enjoy walking my dog in the winter with much less fear of falling. Walked on sidewalks, road and on the frozen river. I love it
