I’ve been using Kroil Original Penetrating Oil for a while now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best penetrating oils I’ve ever used! Ive used this for about 25 years, and its the best penetrating oil on the market. It doesn't work instantly, But it works almost every time. If a bolt is frozen, just soak it in this and wait. Preferably overnight, but a couple of hours usually does the trick.Ive used it on everything from frozen suspension bolts, to locked up engines with stuck pistons. It even works great for cleaning firearms. Only negative is that it makes a crappy lubricating oil, but ive got other stuff for that.

The Kroil is an incredible product. Will penetrate striped screw threads and if left to sit for a day or two, the screws can be removed easily if the heads are not completely destroyed.

Have heard about this magical elixir for years. Not a sponsored product, just a guy showing how simple and effective it is.Facing a glass mounted frozen wiper arm fitting on a place that can’t be cut, warmed, drilled or muscled, I ordered. Finally.The oil smells wonderful, btw. A few drops over three days, and the corroded grip was dissolved and the arm freed. No broken glass. No cussing. No drama.Okay, the oil works great, I was ridiculous not trying it earlier. I’m actually mad at myself because it would have likely saved a ton of time and broken parts over the years. I’ve used it since and am exceptionally pleased with it. Thanks to all who recommended it. Price wise? Same price as two cans of what doesn’t work. A+++

I am using this product because of its numerous recommendations on mechanics web sites. So far, working well for me although I don't (yet) have highly rusted bolts to try.I had originally purchased the spray bottle assuming it might be universal. Unfortunately, the spray is so powerful it doesn't work for a more precision application. Great for large and hard to reach area, but not for small and close.So I bought this drip bottle to cover both needs.
