I’ve now bought three of these optical cables - they’ve performed flawlessly, the oldest for over two years.

You'll want to look for 50/125 cables for more than 1Gbit, but these will be just fine for cabling with older or cheaper equipment using SFP interfaces. There's redundant markings to insure you're setting the duplex correctly (LC port is both marked A-B/B-A and color codes the fibers), which is nice.Durable enough to use in less than ideal conditions as long as you're careful.

Okay, this is an odd review but I purchased this for a science project. The item is mainly to show kids about fiber optics and how they work and where specific elements are utilized in everyday objects. The actual cord isn't going to be used for its intended purpose but I'm giving it 5 stars because it was inexpensive and is perfect for our intended use.

Ran this cable from a rack switch to a router in our building and have had great speeds. Works as advertised.

Works like a charm. Put light in one end, it comes out the other end. SCIENCE! I sit back happily and know that it's transmitting terabytes of information for everyone in the office. Pretty boring colour though. Orange? Snoreville. Maybe robin blue would be nicer. That's just my thoughts on it, though. Maybe you like orange more than blue.

I have just gotten into the world of fiber so don't have any comparison to this cable. All I can say is that it works flawlessly.
