I love aileens brand
This spray is very very tacky. I needed something that would temporarily hold items in place. This spray does not release well. The glue comes with it leaving your product very sticky. It is possible this glue is not meant to release. There are some Spray glues that are temporary. Aileens glue is my go to for any craft because I know I can't count on it to get the job done.

I use it where only semi-adherence is necessary.
Great product! I use it where only semi-adherence is necessary, such as creating a tackiness to keep my backpack strap from sliding off my shoulder. It works great.

Works too good
I recently tried out a re-tackifying spray for my Cricut mat, and I have to say it’s super effective—almost too effective! It definitely brought back the stickiness, but to the point where my project actually ripped because I couldn’t lift it off the mat without tearing the paper. Just a heads-up for anyone planning to use it!

Works as it should
I purchased this to use on stencils to hold in place. It's definitely sticky! Just don't spray too much like I did.

Takes the paint off the walls and the smell will too
Followed the instructions, for application, but should have known something was wrong as it actually sprayed out white and clumpy. I "reshook" the can and was doing my best shaker moves outside, probably entertaining the neighbors, for over three minutes; the spray came out clearer but still clumpy. The stencil sat drying for over 10 minutes while I gathered my supplies and started down to business. The stencil was tacky but not overly so. The walls had been painted in mid March and this was April 20th. All was well and good, I stenciled and I went to lift and reposition the stencil and the stencil came off with confetti size pieces of my wall paint. My walls are deep plum so yes the white was really noticeable. The wall itself was not tacky but I wiped it down anyway, did a gentle sand and repainted. I scrubbed the stencil with my Scrub Daddy and soap, which took off the tack but left the texture of the adhesive, so the back of the stencil is grainy but hopefully harmless. I purchased this adhesive in January but it was stored inside in a controlled heat and cooled environment. The smell of this adhesive is strong and although it was sprayed outside, the "parfum puant," carried throughout the house, and lingered until the exorcism of the stencil washing: So a big warning to anyone pregnant or has a nose with an attached brain. Not worth the money, but maybe I received a fluked can.

Good and bad
I couldn’t stencil the wall without this. Being able to reuse multiple times was a game changer cause painter tape just wouldn’t have worked. I am also so lucky I decided to test before just trying to apply this to the wall I wanted. The spray isn’t even and kinda spat out of the can. After letting it sit for 5 minutes after spraying and applying to the test wall. It left bits of glue on the wall when I pulled off. But when I removed and reapplied to another part of the wall it seemed okay. So I knew that’s what I had to do going forward. However, make sure you DO NOT use on week old painted walls because it will tear the paint. We had to do a lot of touch ups to fill them back in and luckily pattern mostly distracts from it, but if you know where the issues where you can see the pock marks where it was touched up.
