One of my daughter's favorite books!
My daughter loved this book when she was younger. It eventually it got loved to death! I was happy to find a hard back copy for her to add to her collection. If your child loves fairies and find-its this is a perfect gift.

A hit over and over again - "Pink Fairy Book, Please!"
My three year old fell in love with this from the very beginning. This book features a number of colorful scenes of Fairyland: Fairy Feast, Enchanted waterfall, Moon dance, Fairy school, Magic Market, Secret garden, Fairy Palace, House faires, Rainbow fairies, Treetop fairies, Fairy treehouse, Fairyland workshop, and The Snow Queen's ball. There are many cute things to spot on each page. My three year old easily learns numbers that are placed beside each "thing to spot" and enjoys looking for it and counting the "things". Each time we read this book, she discovers something new. She learns numbers, colors and much more. This book never gets boring. So, if you are looking for a book that keeps your child interested for a while instead of collecting dust on your shelf, this is the one to get. I highly recommend this and any other book that is part of the series. This one is my daughter's favorite, though - yes, the bright pink has something to do with it.

great book for little fairy fans
This book is wonderful for early readers or non readers. There is very little text on each page, just a title and lots of pictures. I bought this for my daughter because she likes fairies and search and find books keep my children busy for quite some time. The great thing about this book, though, is that it allows non-readers to work independently. The number is right next to the item they are to find, so they can easily figure out how many of the object they need to locate. I have been very impressed by how quickly my 3yo is catching on to number recognition when it comes to knowing how many little fairies are hiding on a page. I highly recommend this book.

Fairies, magic, and having fun with your kids
Cute, fun,... Wait, I said cute already, right? I mean, it is. This is a good bonding experience for parents and kids. You can snuggle up and look for the little hidden pictures and stuff together. It's very exciting when your child finds something and points it out. You can yell, "Yay!" and stuff to enhance the experience. I personally like these, because my son (he's 9), has been into the look and find genre for a while. I bought this one for a friend's daughter, and I hope she digs it, because it's not just a book, it's an experience. So there.

Cute but short
The book is great with nice pictures. The only bad thing is that the book is very short. It looks and feels like a magazine.

My daughter loves this book
I asked my 13 year old daughter if I could give this book to her younger cousin and she agreed. A few weeks later I mentioned that we had given it away and she was upset with me for giving it away because she wanted to keep it forever. I have bought it again so she can keep it.

Great for non readers
My 3 year old loves the book. It is something she can do independently. The number of items to find is written next to a picture of each item that needs to be found. This makes it possible for a non reader to work independently. The only drawback is that most items are pretty easily found as they are grouped together in a small area.

"Fairyland" book
I purchased "1001 Things to Spot in Fairyland" for my granddaughter for her third birthday. It is a beautiful book with colorful illustrations and lovely pictures of charming fairies. My son and daughter-in-law were delighted, because they wanted me to get the children educational gifts. This gift fits that bill, giving her the opportunity to stretch her little brain trying to find the hidden objects; but it also delights her little girls' fantasies with all the little fairies.

Beautiful book!
I bought this for my daughter last Christmas but she's only recently just started to get into it (she's about to turn 4).The pictures are bright and colourful and you have different objects to find plus the amount of each to find. Each two pages has a new fairy theme (e.g. Fairyland Workshop, Treetop Fairies, Fairy School, Secret Garden, The Snow Queen's Ball, etc) so it doesn't get repetitive. It is very good for getting children to spot things, for learning new vocabulary (which sticks as it is visual) and for learning and identifying the numbers 1-10.What I also like is that the numbers don't necessarily go in order. For example: on the Secret Garden pages you look for "6 pink flower fairies" first then "10 dandelion clocks", etc, so children really learn to identify their numbers.Another great book from Usborne!

Great book
This has been a best gift. Father Christmas left it a few years ago and it is still regularly looked at at home, in the car, when camping, to restaurants, we take it anywhere where we may need the kids to sit still for a while!
