Well built, straightforward, performs great.
The pellet bullet trap is solidly built and comes with clear, two-sided instructions. Once you take a moment to review them, assembly is simple and quick—I had it put together in just 15 minutes without needing any extra tools. To reduce noise from BB gun pellets hitting the metal back, I placed some cardboard behind the target, which worked well. Overall, it's straightforward, effective, and performs great. However, keep in mind that it may rust if left outdoors for extended periods.

Nice Pellet Trap . . . At This Price Point Just Buy It . . ..
I normally do not write free reviews (I usually get paid), but I have to say my experience was completely different that some other reviewers. Maybe, I was just lucky or maybe my background in engineering helped, but the trap just went together. Now, to be fair I did take my time and cross checked the directions, the holes for the screws (to see how well tapped they were) and I did attached the sides to the bottom and then attached the back plate to the first three pieces. Simply, no problem at all.I then went out and shot about 60 rounds of .22 cal through my PCP air gun at 970 fps and the pellet trap worked great. I did put in 12x12 double cardboard in front of back plate (and behind the target) to quiet the pellet strikes down some and the trap worked great. I would say definitely try it if you need it . . .. It worked well for me.

Works Okay
Works okay. But even though the backstop is angled to throw the lead downward into the bottom of the trap, I still had lead fragments coming back at me when used within 10 yards with an 800fps .22 pellet rifle. For safety, don't try using this under 15 yards. And wear shooting glasses.pros:-very heavy gauge steel.- clip to hang paper targets works well. I just use plain notebook paper with a square of blue painters tape in the center for my 10 ring.cons:- two screw holes didn't quite line up. Making assembly annoyingly difficult.

Strong, works well but may require some minor modifications
The target is as described and works well. However, the machining of the base could be better. Everything went together fairly easily except the left side panel that attaches at the base and top with 5 screws. 3 of the threaded screw holes were incomplete, not having been fully tapped. My tap and die set had the right tap so I finished the threads. The three holes would not accept the screws in the package as the holes were not finished. Secondly, three slots on the side just missed being usable by a 1/32" or so. I widened the three slots then the screws matched the screw holes in the base plate. The people who made this need better quality control. I do like the trap, if the machining were better I would have given it 5 stars. I don't think customers should have to do more than assembly.

Works well
I use this trap with .22 subsonic. I filled it with folded cardboard to dampen the noise. Plenty sturdy enough for .22 long rifle.

Seems very solid - assembly was easy - it had INSTRUCTIONS!!!
So many items like this have no instructions. This one probably didn't need them but it was nice to have something to reference. This trap is solidly made. I attached pictures of the back, bottom and sides in order of thickness. I also included a picture inside the completed trap. There are gaps but that should not be a problem. The trap also includes quite a few targets. I was not able to test today as it is raining hard but hopefully I will be able to test .177 air rifles, .22 BB's, shorts and long rifle ammo by this weekend. If it does well with all of that I have a 22 magnum and a 17 HMR I can test on it. The 17 is such a light bullet I would expect it to do fine but the 22 magnum may have too much pop for this.

No more picking up pellets
My son & his friends enjoyed shooting airsoft pellets and they would end up all over the yard. This gives a nice target to shoot at and allows us to contain the pellets (unless they miss, of course). Came with a bunch of targets.A well-made, solid bullet trap that we'll get much use of. Great gift idea for a difficult to buy for teen boy.
