Well constructed; good value
A fine electric outboard and good value. A little heavier than I expected but solidly built. The power meter is useful but beware when using Lifep04 batteries which maintain their voltage until almost discharged. So the power meter (designed for lead acid batteries) will show 80% power remaining until Lifep04 batteries are almost discharged. Pushes a 12ft Gull sailing dinghy for 70 mins at power level 3-4 using a 55ah Lifep04 battery. There’s a big gap between power at 4 level and 5 level, smaller gaps between 1 and 4. I wouldn’t bother using a lead acid battery unless you’re a weightlifter. 80ah+ Lifep04 battery probably best - they’re getting cheaper.
