Works great on Mini PC for Astro
These work great for when using a Mini PC with a remote app and it requires a monitor to be plugged into the Mini PC. Just plug into HDMI port and the Mini thinks a monitor is plugged in. I use this in Astro Photography where the Mini PC is controlling the mount, camera etc.

Works great for headless server
Rather new to Linux, I tried setting up a headless server using a virtual screen and all kinds of weird Linux workaround packagesWhen all that didn’t work, I just bought this and fixed all my issues instantly!This product works as advertised with no issues

Does the job
I used this for moonlight game streaming, so I could have my monitor off, it worked as expected. Very limited functionality.I prefer the virtual software display though, functions the same way, isn't limited by refresh rate or resolution, and supports HDR.
