Printed images definitely look like copies of copies
If all you're looking to do is capture images from slides or negatives to be used for social media or recalling old memories, this works. I intended to reprint some of the images to send to family. While this allows you to do that, the quality is not 'photo' quality. Printed images definitely look like copies of copies. Tones can be off. Contrast can be off. Another thing to keep in mind is that you are scanning one frame at a time. If you have thousands to scan, over 8,000 in my case, this isn't going to cut it.It does what it advertises and it was convenient that it included an SD card so I'm not complaining. It just doesn't meet my needs. I'm going to have to move up to a flatbed scanner that handles multiple strips at a time AND has add-on adapters for the odd film sizes that snuck in over the years.

What a wonderful piece of equipment
What a wonderful piece of equipment!!! Works like a charm (as long as you know to format the smart card. Fromating is offered on the Zonoz). Clarity is as good as the original. Wonderful accessory for anyone wanting to convert 35 mm to jpg.

I was generally disappointed with this model
I was generally disappointed with this model. Not particularly easy or user-friendly, it seemed cumbersome to get image from device into computer. The controls on top seem to be in a position where I had to pick up the device and tilt it toward me to use them. And the commands are not intuitive at all. Save your money

Easy to use.
Works fine, easy to use and quality of product was great on slides that were 25 years old, and now converted to digital. You need to have a storeage disc to transfer to your computer.

This slide converter has a very small screen and hard to see details on the slide that need touching up. The operating manual is very brief and takes a lot of trial and error to get a decent picture. The operation of the scanner is OK just how to adjust the quality of the picture is substandard. I am sorry that I didn't return it when I could. Knowing what I know now I would never have purchased the unit.

Scan of color slide looked like X-ray
Scanner arrived quickly. Set up was very easy. Then tried the first slide. Was from my grandpa's Christmas in 1950 so a good Kodak slide. Pressed capture and the image looked like an X-ray. Tried flipping the slide in the holder, changing the colors and all the same output. Tried TV output as well, and same X-ray format there too. Attaching two photos to show what appeared on the scanner, and a quick picture taken of what was projected on the wall with the actual slide projector. Was looking forward to scanner working as described, but did not. Probably easier to just project the slides on the wall and take pictures with iPhone to keep them in a pinch.

Don't buy it!
I was hopeful even though it is made of cheap plastic. Sadly, it stopped working the first time I used it. I waited too long to try it and now the return window has closed! Waisted $100! Be warned!!
