Up-Date: Monday, 4th, November, 2024After a helpful exchange with the suppliers I have worked with them to solve the problem and found good use for the light. While I could not pose the arm and light in exactly the way I wanted I have found a solution as shown in the second photo (4) where the light can be turned off the axis of the arm if it is posed vertically, hanging down or stood up at the end of the arm. I did originally note that the rotation joint cannot be locked but in this position, up or down (4), it is not critical unless you want absolute identical positioning for your work every single time, but I’m not that perfectionist. This should solve the majority of the specialist video recording and photography that I might need.Congratulations on the suppliers for their support throughout this process.--------------------------(Original review before working with the suppliers to address my challenges.)First thing I will say is that the arm is good enough for most if not all jobs, the light has plenty of power and options for all your lighting needs, but if you want to make more professional use of the arm and light there was one flaw I found (see picture).At upper the end of the arm the light is mounted on what I will call a finger. This finger has plenty of movement in the vertical (1) and has a rotating joint for the light to be rotated 360 degrees around the finger’s axis (2). What it lacked was an effective way to rotate the lamp at right-angles off that axis (3). If you want to position the light at an angle away from the axis and the line of the arm you cannot do it unless you add a ball joint or something similar.A ball joint might have worked except for one problem, the 360 degree axis rotation on the finger (2) cannot be locked. That 360 degree joint is the only point on the entire arm which cannot be locked. They do provide a nice tool and a series of nuts along the arm to lock it into position except at this one point, and this is where it fails.If you do attach a ball joint to mount the light and then try to reposition the angle of the light off the axis then that 360 degree rotation joint will turn on its own accord and cause the light and your camera to droop down.If you don’t need these high standards of positioning then this, for the arm and for the remote control, should be great for all your needs.

Served me well. You can attach it to anything. Easy to set up. It stays up in most positions. Great design. Great value for money. It produces great lighting.

Just started doing YouTube videos and needed a ring light to help me with the lightening. This ring light did the job it says. It’s easy to assemble, bright, sturdy in the table once attached and can be manoeuvred easily

This camera and light clamps to your desk and is very sturdy. You are supplied with an alen key to tighten the bolts if they become loose.The phone holder is not too stiff and I didn't get my fingers trapped in it like my old one. It is very functional and great value for money.The phone holder spins round so you can have it landscape or portrait.Recommended

Put it together very easily.Wheels and tripod are excellent quality.The arm is low to medium build, nothing like RODE microphone arm which is solid.The light is literally very light in weight for obvious reasons, you don't want tipping. Multiple functions for different brightness. Surprisingly good product, due to so many cheap naff items on the market it's nice to see something created well. It might just be 4 components stuck together and luck some are very good quality. Either way, after day 1, would recommend. I'll update this review after a few weeks of usage.

I haven't reviewed this before as I thought it was just me. The light and the phone clamp are good. However, the clamp for the stand is so shallow that it can't grab enough of the table/desk you're trying to attach it to, so it falls off a lot, the weight of the light and phone together cause the clamp to slide off. If the clamp was bigger I'm sure it would hold the weight better. If there was a separate wall mount to go with it that would be perfect.
