Trex Hideaway Plastic Fasteners with Screws - Box of 90

Must have for installing Trex. Pricey, yes, but since you already splurged on the Trex, go all in and get the clips. They make for a very neat job as opposed to face screwing. Also, pick up the installing tool for these.

These worked very good in holding the deck boards in place.

These really do make a clean looking deck installation pretty easy, and the fact they include a bit is really nice! A word of warning, however, ease off the trigger when the screw is nearly seated. I had one or two heads shear off from giving it a little too much juice.

I wound up using a different screw than these because my neighbor had a some he gave me. These are the same screws sold at the two big box stores and they will work just as well. The return process was simple and fast.

We bought an off brand first. Huge mistake. These worked great and looked amazing. Installation was easy once we read the directions. 16 x 16 deck worked better with 2 people maneuvering the board into place. Highly recommended!

I expected to get all the same screw heads, obviously easier when installing or uninstalling the deck boards. Just a heads up that you might bet n=mixed head types if you order multiple boxes (even at the same time).The fasteners are good, easy to install with the right screw head :)
