Ery good for traveling
Very good ar glasses, i paired them with xreal phone-like device to store movies on the go and to save my own phone battery life. After longer use the beam device lasts about 4h of use. But the glasses outperforms the new Xreal One glasses! Downside is that you need prescription inserts-glasses inside of them, as you cant adjust them on their own for your eyes.

Great technology with some issues
I owned these for a few weeks and used them for a few hours a day before deciding to return them as although the techology is brilliant, there were a few issues which I couldn't ignore. 1. This might be down to each individual, but found that my eyes seemed to be more tired and strained after about 30mins of use (watching videos). I tried tunring down to lowest brightness but this was still quite bright. 2. The field of view is quite narrow, in that it won't provide the immersion I personally expected, like watching a movie in a cinema. I tried a friend's Meta Quest 3 and that provides much better immersion, but appreciate they are different types of products. This is more like looking into a big TV/monitor screen but without the clarity - people who wear glasses/contact lenses will probably need to get prescriptions for the included clip - likely to be £100+ I've seen other competitive devices have a diode to adjust the lenses. 3.Compatibility was my biggest gripe - I expected because it's USB C, I could use any video cable USB C cable in case the original one provided got damaaged. I tried over 10 different cables and none provided the same functioanly as the cable it came with. Some of these cables were quite expensive and listed as Xreal Air compatible which were not fully - you can use them to mirrow phone, but when playing video e.g. YouTube, the glasses screen went black (audio was still playing) Also tried USB C to HDMI dongles for connecting to other devices - worked for Nintendo Switch, but when connecting Xbox Series X, got a black screen with vertical flashing green bars. I tried different dongle and cable combinations and had same result and I gave up on the end. I've read the need to purchase the Beam, but this is another £120 expense in addtion to the Air 2 Pro which already costs £450 at the time of writing. I'm confident the functionality of the beam can be inlcuded in the glassesed or provided as a downloadable app for phones/tablets. Conclusion So, if you need a prescription lenses, want to connect to devices like consoles, the costs could be close to £700 (at the time of writing) I do like the idea of having a large screen which is so portable, so look forward to future iterations of this product (and it's competitors). As it is currently, I think the total cost is too high for what it is and finding a compatible 3rd party USB C cable is difficult

Very very flakey
These are not ready for general release.. Where do I start.. The Nebula App - Isn't compatible with Uk Samsung phones. It is not available on Windows, and the Mac Version crashes. The app also drains the Mac battery very quickly, and the fans blast at full speed. As for the glasses - Well the image quality is ok,but 1080p simply isn't enough for most modern apps. When used with the beam, the experience is very sub par. The Battery lasts just 3.5 hours. It gets crazy hot, and the fan is too noisy to use at night in bed without upsetting the wife. It doesn't allow me to charge it with a device plugged in - This is a crazy oversight!! Lag!!! The video had a notably lower frame rate, and the movement of the mouse pointer was noticeably jumpy. I'm on a 1Gb 6g network. When I pin the screen, it slowly drifts. So at this moment - I have a very expensive pair of glasses that don't work with three of the most common devices in the UK. I couldn't be more disappointed. Oh, and the customer service live chat doesn't work either.

Not quite there yet..
I was really hopeful ordering these glasses. Overall however, I had to return them along with the beam pro. Things I liked: 1. The form factor is good making it relatively comfortable to wear. 2. It is really helpful having a screen to watch TV while doing chores. 3. Functions well with the beam pro. the 3DOF features that are offered are 100% crucial to the effectiveness of the glasses. 4. A lot of people complain of blurriness of text along the edges. While I did notice this to a degree, the image was still good enough for some light programming. Things I didn't like: 1. I would often get static appearing on the screen. I hadn't seen this anywhere from my research, so I was baffled by this. Perhaps I got a faulty unit. 2. The most annoying thing when using this for productivity is the screen shaking. Even if you stay completely still, the screen will still wobble to your heartbeat. There is no stopping it. 3. The form factor, while certainly more discreet than a headset, is still "too much" for me to consider wearing it in public. I would use it in air travel, just not around people in my community. 4. Not the most comfortable thing to wear in the world. I definitely felt pressure on my nose and behind my ears after 45 minutes of use. Not unbearable, but noticeable. 5. I like to put this in my pocket while I tidy up. While the glasses have the ability to handle for this, it would always put up a notification on the first use that would come up about the laser pointer. So I would have to clear this message every time and it interrupted my flow. 6. I showed my wife how to use this, but it would never work for her. It is not a very user-friendly device. 7. The beam pro's battery life is simply unacceptable. I found that I would get around 2.5 hrs watching Netflix. 8. The FOV just isn't sufficient. The screen would always feel like it was getting cropped. Ultimately, the glasses performed pretty well and while I was impressed with the technology, I had to return it due mostly to the static, but it in general still feels like a beta product.

Needs the beam to really beam brightly
I didn't know what to expect but with prime I thought I can return them if they are rubbish. I was disappointed slightly at first because I didn't have the beam and the corners are blurry and the whole experience isn't great just with a phone but if you add the beam it is a game changer. The screen is clear in all angles if you use body anchor mode on the beam and it gets rid of motion sickness that I get with vr, just feels like a static tv to me. I loaded all my favourite apps on to the beam and now I use it at dinner to get some r&r that I never used to get. These will be great on a flight or train journey with a few hours of downloads and a battery pack. I do suggest you only try these with the beam or you may be disappointed like I was at first and like other reviews have said, the edges are blurry, that is without the beam and I nearly returned them if it wasn't for amazon prime

Easy to use
These glasses are perfect to use with my DJI mini 4 pro, especially on a sunny day where it's difficult to see the controller screen 👌

Good product though takes a little bit of getting used to.
I have now had my XREAL Air 2 Pro glasses for a week. Overall they are a good product though they may take a bit of getting used to if like me this is your first venture into this tech space. The best things about them are, They are light and comfortable to wear for an extended period, Very portable, a sharp 1080P image quality and the sound quality is also acceptable. There weakness is that they heat up quite a bit and drain the battery life of any connected device. I also have the Beam Pro that drains from full to empty after around three hours usage. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and providing you can really afford the product that you could do worse than give them a go.
