Best chunkers ever!!
Honestly I didn’t expect a lot from these scissors. I’ve been grooming for over 17 years and have always believed you have to spend good money to get good shears. Plus I’m not like a hack job groomer I groom for quality not quantity. Right before the holiday rush all my equipment went to crap, and financially I was pretty strapped. I looked at the reviews and they seemed legit plus most of them were very positive. I figured if worse come to worse I can return them. For the price you can’t complain they are light the curve is more of a super curve which is awesome! Can I tell you how much I love the chunker?! It is amazing I’ve spent big money on chunkers and these are hands down the best chunkers I’ve ever purchased. They haven’t gotten hung up at all and I have used them on various coat types! Love love love! I would definitely recommend. Best $40 I’ve spent in a long time!

Disappointed with the chunkers
I originally bought these just for the chunkers. I was so excited to get them but when I opened it, it was missing the metal piece you use to adjust the tension and the chunkers were so tight there’s no way you could use them and not get a cramp in your hand. They say you can use a flathead screwdriver but I tried that for 20minutes and it wouldn’t budge. The other scissors had great tension so I was really bummed. The chunkers also came with a big chip in the handle which I could have lived with if I could actually adjust the tension.. It could have been just a fluke but I’m not sure if I want to try repurchasing them again to find out. I had such high hopes!

Good deal! Don’t drop them!
As a professional groomer of it more than 10 years now I can honestly say I was shocked at the quality! Not the best by any means but I’m still using them after a month and was super impressed by how sharp they are. Very light weight, not what you would typically expect from a super cheap set of scissors! I would say this is a perfect set to buy and put in your drawer for sharpening day ! I find myself going back to them more often than not. On a bad note, why it’s getting four instead of five stars, you drop them and that’s it! One drop and they never feel like the same scissors! Happened to the straights and now the curves last week.... 😢

NOT recommended!
I have groomed my pups for over 10 years. I have bought scissors from Walmart and a beauty supply store. I thought i would try a set specifically for dogs. I tried scissors and chunkers from this set for a few minutes and learned they will probably never get used again. VERY poor quality. I picked up my years old scissors and was so relieved i did not throw them away.I read many reviews before I bought this set. I looked at the stars. I was convinced. After this experience I am not sure I will read any positive reviews on a product again.

As a professional pet stylist, I am more than impressed with the quality of all these shears. I purchased these scissors to hold me over until I'm ready to drop $200 on a pair of chunkers. As of now I feel I should be well taken care of for a couple months at least. Even the owner of the salon I work in (also a stylist) was impressed and wants to buy these!

Lightweight, serious curve angle
Finger rests CONSTANTLY unscrew, which isn’t a deal breaker but it is ridiculously annoying. Lost the small tool to tighten and loosen the shears, a replacement is $12. Would have been a nice idea to add a keychain to the tool to ensure this doesn’t happen to every single person, which I’m sure it tends to.

Perfect for golden retrievers or other double coated dogs
The comb is awesome at pulling hair from our golden retriever without breaking the undercoat. The feathering scissors are nice for thinning his mane, and the other scissors are nice for keeping his hairy hobbit feet under control.

Nice scissor set!
I bought these after trying a pair of Tijeras chunkers. These are good scissors at a great price! I haven't used them enough to know how long the edge holds up, but they are comparable to Geibs in terms of feel and function. Very happy with my purchase.
