Every dog I have owned has always loved a string of sausages and my new puppy is no exception.This is as strong as the more expensive ones and better quality than some of the cheaper ones ( which lasted only a few days as the rubber was really thin)Great fun for playing tug with your dog or for them to amuse themselves!!!

Brought this sausage rope for my 4 month old puppy. Within half an hour the rope had unravelled and a sausage had come off. It was a replacement for a used one that had been given to him previously therefore I am aware of the shelf life of these toys. When I sent back this toy requesting a refund I was told that they were unable to do so because my dog had destroyed the toy. I was not disputing the fact that my puppy had destroyed it - rather it was the length of time in which he had done so, less than 30 minutes from the time it was given to him. A dog toy should last a little longer than this. I was refused a refund.Avoid this toy and the seller who is extremely condescending. The most appalling customer service. His toys are overpriced (this sausage rope can be brought much cheaper elsewhere) and of poor quality

Excellent, tug of war and throwing toy, lasts a long time ( I have a large breed Shepard). If you attach a chuckit Max Glow ball then you can use it at night also. I only bought these as a replacement for the ones I lost up a tree.

This has proved very durable, and is great fun. My puppy pulls on the rope, and swings the sausages from side to side, and I dangle it and make her jump for or it, and twist it round her making her pirouette. The only criticism, is that the long noses on the faces of the sausages are easy to chew off, and could cause choking. I cut them off flush with a stanley knife after the first two had been bitten off.

Might be better off knotting a rope (which is what you're left with)! Our puppy loves this toy. It's been hours of distraction and fun - only one issue: the material is not dog proof. Over three & half months little remains ...

I got this not for a dog treat but to wear as part of a sausage themed costume (it's probably best not to ask on that one), so had two linked together to make a sausage rope chain. Top marks for this item and it did exactly what I expected.I can't really comment on it's suitability as a rope tug, but as an item of jewellery it's one of the best sausage based items I own.
