Surgical Knots and Suturing Techniques Paperback – January 25, 2018

The author gives large scale exercises-using string-to get the muscle memory going for the hands. Then, the illustrations show the stitch below the surface, so the reader,- if the reader has trouble imaging what the area would look like-can see clearly. Too, that the author illustrates several types of wound/surgical procedures, and not just common dermal wounds, would, should, and could be of great help to students. A quick, easy read(no real eyestrain for those with presbyopia, ahem) easy to follow for learners. At such a small cost, its value could easily overlooked!

This is the very best, clearest and most complete book on surgical knots and related information I've ever found. Clear, large line drawings make it simple to tie the knots with some practice. The real key to being useful is, of course, knowing well what you can and can't do. No book can teach you how to do brain surgery.I would suggest, however, that someone who does not have a solid background in medicine needs to have a copy of a good anatomy book as well as this one. It is important to understand tissue layers and their relationship to make best use of this book.

This book was a handy, quick read reminder of suturing basics. I thought it was a good refresher. There was nothing new. No excellent tips or hints just the basics which is important.

This is the second of two books that I bought for my son to accompany a "How to suture kit". It's informative with clear diagrams. My son loves it!

This is a very good book if you are trying to learn some advanced First aid. It shows you step by step with pictures to follow up on the text. I got it as a book to review my past training and it works perfectly for that also. It is easy to understand and a friend of mine that is a PA said that she used the same book in school.

Excellent book particular for review of various suture techniques and when to use. I highly recommend. Easy to read and follow.

This book can be read on Kindle apps but not on actual Kindle devices, including the kindle paper white. It is the only Kindle book I've bought where I found this to be the case.

I am a survivalist so I bought this book along with a surgical knot tying kit to learn how to suture wounds. It might come in handy some day whether it be in the woods or some place that it may not be easy to get to a hospital. I believe learning all types of skills is an asset.

This is a basic book to young students in medical school.Maybe technical explanations about vascular sutures should be here.Basic ,simple , clear and good.

Good book for medical and para medical staff. Especially for new comers. Diagrams are suprb. Just read for self improvement
