Great for a solo performer who uses a Looper.
This book is great for a person that wants arrangements to accompany a solo performance. Not what I wanted, but great for what it is.

Enhances use of new looper pedal
As an early intermediate guitarist and new to looping, this book helps enhance my understanding and creativity of the loop pedal. May be hard for beginners and simple for advanced players or experienced loopers, this book is a good tool for enhancing usefulness of loop pedal. This review is for the hard copy; prior critique of kindle edition likely accurate due to format challenge for using in that format but does not reflect substance of material.

Does not contain vocal melody notes
I bought to use with looper and play the melodic/vocal lines. The book however, does not contain the vocal melody line , only lyrics.. and guitar chords/riffs.

Directed more toward beginners
I was expecting a more intermediate level of song transcriptions, but it at least gave me a starting point to embellish on what was given

I wish these looper songs were recorded somewhere
I purchased the paperback version, which was surprisingly less $ than the Kindle. Seems decent. I’m just starting to browse it. A BIG disappointment is I see nothing about where to listen to these looper tunes. I guess recorded examples don’t exist? VERY disappointing. Because of this, I’m giving a very low rating. If I find out recorded examples do exist, I’ll up the rating accordingly.

Not easy, not difficult, very rewarding
This is actually a pretty good book and gives a guitarist a good number of songs to work with. The book lays out the chord loops and tabs the lead and bass parts along with some ideas for rhythm & percussion (using the dampened strings and also hitting the body). Oh the words are there as well. Ive probably worked through half a dozen or more and they don’t take too long to get something that is passable, you kind of just have five in and give it a go to get past the “it’s laid out strangely” thought that is basically the first impression I had when I opened the book. There’s a lot more songs than that of course. There’s a lot here so I think it’s good value. Will go back to this loads over the months ahead.

Good book gives you ideas
Book looks very good . Gives you excellent guidance. A small thing but I would prefer some of the tablature to be printed with blacker ink. Was a little faded but still plenty readable . Lots of songs and a thick book. Nice. I consider this essential for me with my looper pedal to progress

Bad
Just no .... it doesn’t tell if you’re suppose to be strumming Or playing chords also no strumming pattern no dvd/cd so you don’t know what it suppose to sound like and no examples either. If you’re trying to learn how to loop songs use YT

Not bad but....
Quite daunting at first glanec to relatively new Looper Enthusiast.I need to give it some time to bed in.... Perhaps I'll even update my review in a few months!

looper book
the book appears to be useful to looper users, ,I ,myself have not used the book to it's best, as i'm still experimenting with my looper pedal. but i'm sure more experienced operators would hold different views and ideals, but all knowledge is good when learning, so yes it's a useful addition to my collection.
