The media could not be loaded. This robot is quite small but it is cute. When I first turned it on it made a lot of incredibly loud noises and I thought there was no way I would be able to put up with that. There's no volume control on the robot, luckily once I put the batteries in the remote control I found a button which would turn them off.The robot is fun to use. The remote has a forward and backward and another for spinning left or right. When combined you can just about drive it where you want it to go.There are also buttons to play horrible music, change the noises, and make it self drive however it wants to.The remote requires 2 AA batteries which are not included, the robot itself can be charged with a USB C - USB A cable, it does not come with a plug.My 3 year old adores this robot!

The media could not be loaded. This is quite a simplistic toy - an introduction to robots for toddlers.It's cute, small and light enough for little hands to pick up and manipulate. The head and arms move which is good - toddlers like to pull and twist things! The body of the robot is one piece - the caterpillar tractors don't move as it's propelled by little wheels underneath the robot.I like that the eyes light up and change, and I like the sounds. I also like that even if it isn't charged up the robot can be trundled along by the wheels on the base. I'm less keen on the remote control - it's a bit flimsy and needs two AA batteries (not supplied) to operate it, and I think very small children might struggle to use it. When it's turned on the robot periodically makes without any input, this will, I'm sure, delight a small child, but it will annoy any adults present - it's a bit like having a small dog that every now and then barks for attention. The sounds are reminiscent of R2D2 which is quite cute in itself.The build quality is a little flimsy - it looks and feels a bit cheap, but I guess that's ok for the target audience and the price point.Do I like it? Hmm, I'm not sure. It's an ok toy for small children and I'd guess the age range is 18 months - 3/4 years, but I think older children might find it a bit basic.At £25.99 (as at 20 November 2023) it's an ok price for an ok toy, but I wouldn't expect it to last too long once it's in full use.

Very disappointing as it was for a birthday present and it didn’t work. Only one wheel would turn so it kept going round in circles. Returned

I bought this robot for my four-year-old son, and the packaging is so nice that it can be used as a gift right away. As soon as we opened it, my son was attracted by its adorable appearance and couldn’t put it down. I really like its rechargeable design, although the remote control still requires two AA batteries, but the remote control doesn’t consume much power, so it can be used for a long time. It is very easy to operate, with buttons for forward and backward movements, as well as the ability to turn left and right, and spin around—it’s very lively. Additionally, it can sing and dance on its own, making my child burst into laughter. The highlight is the eyes with emoticons, which can freely switch between many different patterns. This feature is really great. I am very satisfied with this product and will definitely recommend it!
