Spork harness has made walks with my puppy enjoyable.

No pull no choke didn't work
My dogs were able to wiggle out of the harness. I couldn't tighten the harness more or it would of been too tight. A size smaller would have been too small.I can't complain about the workmanship. I can't review the durability but my 2 Beagles were able to wiggle out of the harness and they were supposed to be ultimate control no pull. However I had no problem with returns. Someone please invent a harness for Beagles! These were our 4th attempt at finding a harness that our dogs would not wiggle or backout of. If your dog is a puller I would not recommend this harness.

The best harness
I ordered this for my big dog, and it's perfect. Very sturdy, easy to put on, and very good reflective threads. Very happy, and will reorder again.

Best no pull harness period.
Excellent! Our Brittany is 43 lbs. and super strong. With this harness, getting him out of the neighbor's mulch is a tug vs. an absolute tug of war. Plus the top ring moves from side to side (see pic) Great Innovation! It's a ton better than a fixed top ring.

A Real Game-Changer for a High Torque Puppy Capable of Towing a Trailer
What a difference! I'm not inexperienced dealing with dogs but trying to control my 40 lb Golden Retriever puppy was impossible. He has more pulling torque than a Powerstroke diesel. I did all traditional things for "loose leash" walking training that had always worked with other dogs but absolutely nothing worked with this puppy we'll call Torque to protect the guilty. Seeing me struggle to control my puppy, the vet assistant recommended a control harness. Now it seemed counterintuitive to me that a harness would control pulling. Seemed like a harness would provide more pulling capability, not less. But I was desperate.I have to say that the the simple diagram of how to put the harness on the dog looked nothing like what I took out of the package--hence the 4 stars instead of 5. It was totally confusing. Plus, trying to fit the harness on a squirming puppy was like to put it on a squirrel who'd consumed crack. When I finally figured out which piece went over his head, and had gotten the difficult-to-adjust straps properly adjusted, this frustrated skeptic was ready to take "Torque" for a walk.Wow! What a difference! Now instead of having my arm ripped out of the socket I have maximum control with minimal effort. Walks are now pleasurable and we both get exercise instead of me doing the traditional stop when pulling starts and reverse direction that usually works to keep a dog from pulling.

Great harness but questionable hardware
We really like the Sporn harness and find the fabric very well sewn and sturdy. Our 30 pound dog seems to find it comfortable as there isn't any behavior from her that would indicate otherwise. The harness really does reduce pulling a lot when the connector on the dog's back is used. When the connector on the front of the harness is used it basically eliminates pulling altogether. But - the harness comes with an extension that can also be used an an ultra short leash if you need to control your dog in very close quarters. I had a leash attached to this extension as suggested by the instructions when our dog saw a squirrel and made a brief run toward it. When the dog reached the end of the leash the metal ring on the extension completely failed and opened up. Bear in mind this is a 30 pound terrier type dog - not a large breed at all. This left my dog free, interested in a squirrel, near a busy street. There were a few very tense seconds before I got the dog stopped verbally, had her sit, and fastened the leash to the harness without the extension. So - the harness is very good and works as advertised but be very wary of the strength of the hardware on the extension.

BEST
It’s the best harness I’ve ever bought. From the dollar store to the pet store/Amazon. It came highly recommended by an owner with big dogs. My dog isn’t big shes a rescue, likes to bolt, etc.I cannot reply to durability though.

It works somewhat.
It works a little from the front position. The regular one does no more than any other leash.

Not perfect but very good
I like the handle, however the back attachment and the "give" in the harness it is not as effective against pulling as I would have hoped. It does help, however if you have a reactive dog like I do, you sacrifice some of the control you have over the dog. I do love that is has a front and a back attachment point also for the car, however I am not sure if the lower bit of the harness gets in the way when walking and having the lead attached on the front bit. I had not observed that with other harnesses I own.The "ring" gets pulled quite a bit to the side. Overall the harness is good quality and thanks to the handle the back strap sits further back then with other harnesses I have, hence preventing "armpit rubbing".What it does not say in the instruction leaflet, is that you have to lift one of your dogs paws to put it on. This is not an issue when you know it but I had to check with a YouTube video to make sure I put it on right.

Strong good harness worth the money
Good strong harness works on my German shepherd puppy but doesn't work on my Labrador puppy he likes to still pull with it but harness itself is good and strong just can't find anything that will stop my labrador from pulling he's a pain but he'll get there at least I can walk my German shepherd and she's a big girl at 9 months

Harness failed after only a few walks.
I have a small dog and after only a few walks the O-ring where you attach the leash to the harness failed...luckily my dog didn't realize she was off leash while I was walking her in the forest because she would have been gone forever. My dog is half the max weight and not a strong puller and this harness failed. As you can see from the pictures the stitching has also started fraying after less than 10 km's of usage. Do buy this harness to use as a solo device because chances are it will not end well for your pet as it is dangerous, poorly made product.

Great
It helps to control our dog from the centre of his body vs his neck. The only issue is I’ve heard other reviews saying a piece broke so we have safety measures in place with carabeener latch. Also, it’s hard to learn to put on. I find if you put their head through it then their left leg it works best, just difficult to remember at first.

Poorly designed product!
Got the harness about 10 days ago and have been using it since until today when I was out with my dog and the “O” Ring primary leash attachment broke. Remember seeing people reporting the same problem which in hind sight I should’ve listened. In any case it looks like the “O” Ring is inadequately designed. I’m very disappointed. Be warned!Note: I have an about 20 lb rat terrier. The harness I bought is the Sporn Ultimate Control Harness. Size small. Red colour.
