Works well, needs more of the larger pieces
Product works well with a heat gun. I have a 3 temp heat gun with a curved shrink attachment and that worked great on high for this purpose. The only negative is that I wish it had many more large pieces. Not sure what I would use the smallest ones for. You can see the solder melt into the wire strands and appears to make a strong connection. Not sure if I would trust the seal to be waterproof. I have been following up with a glue lined shrink tube to try to ensure a more water resistant bond.

Best way to join 2 wires!
These little connectors are the best way I've found to connect two wires reliably. A hot air gun will flow the low melting point solder inside the heat-shrink tube, making a strong electrically sound joint. The seal keeps water and other bad stuff out, and the heat shrink makes a nice protective cover, all in one. They are a bit more expensive than other alternatives, but if you want a reliable connection, this is the way to go!

Skeptical at first! Now, throw away you crimping tool!
These things are awesome! Go ahead and throw your crimping tool away, you won’t need it again! These performed as advertised. The science behind it seemed good but was still as little skeptical. After using them on a boat trailer, that is submersed constantly and receives a beating, my only regret is not having found these sooner.

Junk junk and more junk!
Don’t waste your time buying these, there absolute junk! If you did buy them, send them back! The plastic tube melts but the Solder doesn’t, if it’s solder at all.

How to tell if connection is proper
Priceo, but work well, and with ease

For long lasting tight joints, this is the way to go.
Works great! Keeps the joints strong and water proof. No more loose connection.
